Fun arcades and the kids really enjoyed themselves. A range of machines. Friendly and helpful staff. Was a little tired, but the venue was really clean.
Dropped a star because of the concerns we had about the cleanliness of the ice cream and donut stand... The young person serving us stood on their phone in-between serving customers without washing hands in-between touching phone and serving food!

We went to Manning's specifically to play the crazy golf course. It was excellent. Much more tricky than it looks. Only £3 each too, bargain. Shame it's only 13 holes but still very enjoyable. Only drawback was it was very very cold in there, so wear a coat !
We plan on coming back with friends.

Very pleased to see the bold signs outside exclaiming "vintage arcade", which would be a welcome escape from all the enormously dull ticket machines and screen fruit machines that anyone could get on their laptop.
Inside, it was pretty much exactly the same as anywhere else, except from some retro plastic advertising from another era and a converted Astro Wars machine which plays 40 odd, old arcade games.
There was clearly a funfair out the back as well at some point,, but this has degenerated into a shabby, down-at-heel, miniscule market. This was probably an exciting, entertaining place back in the day with a great array of quality machines/rides, but they would probably be better off putting it out of its misery, At least take the false advertising down...

We had a great couple of hours of fun here, like a lot of seaside amusments a little tired and run down. However, the staff were friendly it wasn't packed and we had a great game of crazy golf.

A rather run-down venue with shipping containers replacing some of the outside structures. Probably an excellent place to visit in the 1960s but sadly no longer a highlight on the Felixstowe seafront.

I remember how this place used to be when I was a kid and my family used to visit each year. It’s been about 8 years since I was last there.
I would have thought that it would have been busier considering it was a sunny June day, but after a wander around we both said the same thing that we have been in much better amusements and were disappointed by our visit.

I have played Mini Golf at the Mannings Amusement for as long as I can remember but when I went today for the first time in a long time there were musty odours in the air.. as if the place wasn’t clean. I understand it’s very old but I think a refurb wouldn’t go amiss, or even just some air wick. We rushed the last hole because the odour was a bit unbearable.

Such a shame. We decided to walk quite a eway to this place today to see the vintage fairground rides and machines and, there wasn't any of either! The most vintage part of this, was the building itself. No bumper cars, no crooked or haunted houses (yet the facades of them are still there in a yard that is apparently being turned into shops and a sunday market??? What a terrible decision!).
No vintage pinball, no vintage penny one-armed bandits, nothing. Great Yarmouth's vintage arcade does this really well. And I'm not sure sure how you can mislead people with the 'Vintage' title boldly emblazoned across the whole complex?
REALLY disappointing! The only vintage thing about the whole complex, is the lack of upkeep and apparent abandonment of the whole complex. So terribly sad.
Just the same as any other common amusement arcade on the seafront. And what is there, isn't even being maintained properly.
