Having been to Southwold before, the pier was not a surprise to us. However, the weather was pretty decent and we had a lovely walk along the pier, taking in the water clock (which had the wrong time) and taking a quick look at the...More

Lovely old pier, well maintained and good variety of shops and eateries. Hydraulic clock is worth looking at. Not huge, but a nice wander.

The water clock was probably what interested us most. We spent easily 15 minutes with the children finding new things to look at on the clock. We didn’t eat on the pier but there are plenty of places to do so if you want to.

Hi, You are more than welcome to bring a dog as long as its on a lead. We also don't allow dogs into the Boardwalk Restaurant, but everywhere else is fine. Thanks, Southwold Pier
