May bank holiday not as crowded as neighbouring towns and a civilised affair. Little fountain pool for children, sailing boats and enough sea front for even the most energetic children.

A dog friendly beach with easy walking, beach mostly shingle but a little bit of sand at low tide. Parking is not easy at times. Plenty of space for everyone.

Went for a stroll together along the seafront. We particularly were impressed with the lush green gardens seemingly unaffected by the salty air. Love walking and gazing out to sea, whilst taking in the life going by.

Came here with our dog. It’s long, windy and has steeply sloping pebbled beach. It was wonderfully quiet and we had the beach pretty much to ourselves. Parking available nearby.
