Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited here late one afternoon with the kids and puppy. It was only 4.30 but the cafe was closed. There were quite a few of older louder children in the playground which was a bit off putting for our younger ones. The walk around the pond was nice and the willow tunnels were fun. The area was clean and tidy. Toilets were basic but fairy clean.

My Grandmother used to take me to the park when it had an outdoor swimming pool (salt water from memory). So now I like to take my grandchildren too, after they have been to the beach. The play park is fun for them and they always like to visit the outdoor gym...and its all free. The cafe is handy and the lakes great to walk around, with the ducks following you. The museum is adjacent and there are tennis courts too, which I have not used.

A large, green, open space ideal for everyone. Families can picnic and feed the ducks. There's a children's playground and ball courts for older ones. There's also art displays and a cafe. And, at one end, Bexhill Museum, which is also worth a visit.

We’ve spent many afternoons and evenings wandering around and having picnics. Huge play area for children too. Always well maintained and the convenience of public toilets if needed.

Good park with open manual gym and lot of play areas for kids. Bexhill motor museum is just nearby. Good place to spend time just near to sea with small boating facility and birds.

We wandered into the gardens by chance and loved the lake and pretty gardens. What made our visit though, was talking to the interesting volunteers who look after the blue-walled areas of gardens. Such a mixture of colours and sensory plants to experience.
Thank you to all the lovely volunteers!

Disappointed, park was too busy for kids to use , boats are not in use because of dirty algae water , and a major seagull problem , swooping down on us for food ( kids had ice cream) . Didn't stay here long this time . According to the signs the gulls kill 70 ducklings there per year not surprised they were so aggressive.

Why were the toilets locked this afternoon.? There were lots of children, it's half term and no toilets! No signs to say where the nearest toilets were.

Is it wheelchair friendly as would like to visit tomorrow
Written 8 September 2016
Hi yes it is wheelchair friendly, either end of the park has a ramp you can go down into the park, there are paths that go right through & round the park. There is outdoor seating for the cafe if you fancy a tea or coffee 😊

Hi can I have an address for the park please?
Written 29 July 2015
Hi I am sorry I do not have a post code for the Park. It will be in the TN39 area. If you google Egerton Park Indoor Bowls Club then you will get the postcode for there and it is in Egerton Road and at the end of the park.
There is also a very interesting Museum in Egerton Road as well so you may wish to visit there.
Regards Charle
