Amazing experience
Aug 2020
Highly recommend this outing!!
Today we had a lovely family llama walk with Tom, Juno and Gabriel. After an initial induction from Tom who talked to us about the history of Llamas, their personalities and general health and safety of the outing, we had a lovely relaxing walk around the grounds. We finished with an introduction to the baby llamas and a nice hot cuppa and home made muffins!
My girls absolutely loved the morning and cant wait to do it again. Tom was amazing very friendly, knowledgable and really is passionate about the animals he is working with. Can’t thank them enough!!

Ah - thank you so much for your lovely comments. I will be sure to pass them onto Tom. He is a great asset to the farm and don't know where we would be without him. We'll look forward to seeing you again some time. Best wishes, Tina x

Great fun!
Aug 2020
Bought a llama walk for my daughter and her boyfriend as a birthday surprise. Had such a good morning today being looked after by the lovely Tom. He knew everything there is to know about them and is clearly passionate about his love for all animals and takes pride in his work. We had a calm walk around the wooded lanes which lasted for just over an hour and then we had a peek at the baby llamas. Nothing felt rushed. The farm cat is the sweetest and most friendliest cat we have come across. Thank you to Christine for organising it all and for the lovely muffins 😃

So pleased that you had such a lovely time. We aim to make each experience as pleasurable as possible. I think 'Joyce no voice' impresses everybody. I don't know if you heard her meow - she doesn't have one - just a croak hence her name lol! I'll pass on your lovely comments to Tom and I know he will be very pleased. Maybe see you again some time. Best wishes, Tina x

Lovely present
Jun 2019 • Couples
Well when a group of friends got me a present walking with Llamas and a cream tea after I laughed .

But I have to stay it was great fun , and what lovely animals . They were bigger than I thought but not a problem to walk with on a lead. The only thing was they loved stopping and eating the hedgerows, but that just made the walk all the more interesting. Anna are guide for the walk was lovely and friendly and she knew loads about the Llamas.

The cream tea afterwards was lovely
Freshly baked scones delicious.

This place is well worth a trip for something different

Lovely place
Jun 2019
Wanted to do something a little different for a weekend and stumbled across this little diamond. Have been alpaca walking previously ( somewhere else ) and thought this could be a great follow up. My daughter is six and I did forget the size of her / size of llama ratio so definitely needed adult help. Not only does the farm have great llamas but is home to ‘Joyce with no voice ‘ the sweetest farm cat I’ve ever met! If my daughter had her way she would have been taken home 😂. The walk was not too long and just long enough and we were blessed with some sunny weather. The walk was full, and we were also lucky to have some really nice people to walk with too. My daughter did unfortunately spook the llama with the scruff of her boots on the floor and did end up pulling away and running off. But again not the fault of anyone, these llamas are fantastic but obviously weary of noises and also small noisy children. My wife ended up finishing the trip with Findlay the llama and she loved it. Finished off with a lovely cuppa and a muffin for my daughter, and got to play with the dogs in the garden. Both the owner and the young lady working there were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Great value for money and will return next year.
Thanks to you all.

Ahhh! Matthew - that is so lovely - thank you very much! We're really glad you enjoyed the walk so well and it will be nice to see you all again next year. Maybe your daughter will be a little stronger and taller by then, although the way your wife took to it all, you might have to have 2 llamas!!! See you next year :-) xx

Great way to spend a couple of hours

I'm sure to many the idea of walking along country lanes with an animal the size of a small horse native to Peru might seem slightly surreal...

However having initially had several emails with Tina and having some brief 'Llama Chat', I can honestly say a llama trek with Bluecaps Llamas should be on everyone's must-do list. Tina was so helpful and very responsive with my queries prior to booking, which always bodes well and was greatly appreciated.

After a brief introductory talk with some very simple do's and don'ts and some time to meet the llamas, the walk itself follows a delightful route through the country lanes of Cousley Wood. The lanes are incredibly quiet and virtually traffic free, but when a car is encountered, the llamas have obviously been trained to such a high standard that they'll happily just stand at the side of the road and wait.

The llamas are beautiful animals and whilst some might think they're not particularly attractive, there's something endearing about their slightly 'goofy' look. I definitely felt an affinity with Finlay and think we bonded with similar personality traits.

All credit to Tina and the Team! We thoroughly enjoyed our trek and hope to return one day. Perhaps I can plan better and take Finlay on a 'date' to the pub?

Definitely one to do before you die.....
May 2019 • Couples
Thank you Nicholas & Juno.... two of the loveliest animals you could ever meet!
Obstinate when they want to be.... and why not?... Amusing, gentle, obedient if you want to be the boss.... not so obedient when they want to be the boss.... sorry, but electricians like me run out of superlatives trying to describe these beautiful animals.
An hour walking with these incredibly gorgeous beasts is an experience you will never forget!
Cream tea afterwards quite relaxing afterwards..... just to mention Joyce No Voice the black cat will join you if you're lucky. Also will mention the lovely horses and the dogs....
Just do it..... it's great fun
Tina.... you are a star!

Best day out ever!
Apr 2019 • Family
I can’t recommend Bluecaps highly enough. My wife and I plus two kids (aged 14 and 10) had such a brilliant time walking with Tina’s amazing llamas. They were so calm and each has a distinct personality. Tina is a fantastic host and makes you feel so welcome. The walk itself was beautiful with stunning countryside and views. Lovely to finish with a cup of tea and oozy chocolate muffins!

Excellent walk with Llama's
Apr 2019 • Friends
Yesterday Tina along with Nicholas, Juno and Gabriel gave us a wonderful walk around the local area. Tina is so knowledgeable. kind and fun, it shows she really cares for and knows her animals very well.
The walk was easy and the Llama's were so easy to walk with and fun to be around.
I would fully recommend this experience. I will certainly be going again.
The walk ended with a drink and bun which rounded this off nicely.
Thank you so much for a special experience.

Our glamping experience
Jun 2018 • Couples
What an amazing time me and my boyfriend had on our glamping trip this week! We stayed in a shepherds hut which are very cosy.
We decided we would like to go on a famous llama walk to see what it’s all about and it’s defiantly worth the experience! We had a fab time! I can’t thank Tina enough for our enjoyable visit and how welcoming she was!
We will defiantly be back.
