The Blackwater Alpacas & Pygmy goats private tour was amazing afternoon out, and we would thoroughly recommend it!

It was an extremely well run and informative tour, that was also fun for everyone. The setting is ideal, and it’s clear to how well the Alpacas and goats are looked after. Glenn provides a superb tour with lots of information and history about the Alpacas and goats whilst also keeping it fun. The farm is very clean and well maintained, and it’s clear to see how settled and in excellent conditions the Alpacas and goats are.

The pygmy goats are full of character and love the attention they receive.

Overall, it was a great tour and we’d highly recommend a visit to “Blackwater Alpacas & Pygmy Goats”.

What a fantastic day out. We did the Alpaca walking in the morning. Well organised with very knowledgeable, passionate and personable, animal loving people running the event. They clearly love their animals and their welfare is of utmost importance. After walking the Alpacas you will get up close and mix with the Pygmy goats, what fun so cute!
We went back in the afternoon for the Pygmy goat yoga, so great, brilliant time and if you want something that is different, out in fresh air and run really well I cannot recommend it enough.
Thankyou so much to Glenn and Claire for creating such a special event in lovely surroundings. Have a safe winter and hopefully I will be back in the future.

The alpaca walking experience at Blackwater was perfect in every way.

Claire & Glenn were the perfect hosts. They made us feel very welcome straight away, it was very well organised and were so helpful with all their knowledge telling us all sorts of facts throughout the experience.

The walk itself was fantastic, we loved our alpaca Jon Snow and was great looking around as it was such a lovely scenery. Goat fishing was very amusing, certainly wasn't expecting that!

We then went to look at the female alpacas before going into the goat enclosure where we were swarmed by all the goats which was amazing and getting to hold a pygmy goat was the icing on the cake. Thank you Claire & Glenn for such an experience.

This is a must do experience! The people that run this are absolutely lovely. Walking the Alpacas was such a lot of fun, beautiful animals, and you get plenty of time with them. You also get to feed the goats with both a leafy branch and then feed. And to finish, you go in with the goats with their babies and stroke them while they feed and then cuddle a baby goat !!!!! Absolutely amazing, super value for money. We will be going back for the goat yoga !

Had a amazing morning. I went in a party of four which included my Mum, Son and his girlfriend, as two adults walking one Alpaca. I bought this experience for my Mum and son birthdays and was a great way for different ages to spend time together. This experience is excellent value for money as not only did we love walking the adorable Jon Snow and Harry Potter we also went 'goat fishing' , saw baby Alpacas and fed and had a cuddle with the pigmy goats. This experience was made extra special by the enthusiasm, knowledge and love for their animals shown by Claire and Glenn

There were three of us joining the Alpaca trek on Saturday morning. Brilliantly organised and happy well loved animals in a beautiful setting. We had Harry Potter the Alpaca to walk who sung a lovely tune as we walked. Lots of interesting facts about the animals and area. Then introduced to the elderly goats, breeding goats and cuddles with baby Pygmy goats, adorable 🥰, not forgetting the lady Alpacas! Highly recommend as well as the goat yoga that we have also done, hilarious 🤣. A must do experience ❤️Thanks to Claire and Glen 👌🏼

What a lovely experience we had visiting Blackwater Alpacas & Pygmy goats today! We had this a Christmas present from our friends and really loved the Alpaca walking round the farm (with Jon Snow & Oberon’s snack cafe stops ie grass eating!) along the banks of the Blackwater river. It was well organised and informative with a real conservation ethos and very interactive with the animals including seeing the sweetest new cria’s that have just been born! The Pygmy goats were adorable well worth the wait for a cuddle, really cute little loves. If you are into Yoga/Pilates they also to Pygmy goat yoga too! Such a great morning :)). I have a feeling we will be back with other new recruits when we show the pictures and videos taken by the owners Glenn and Claire which are all included. Check them out on FB and other socials and book!! :))

I've been visiting blackwater alpaca and Pygmy goat farm for years. The owners are fantastic, kind, considerate and inclusive. Over the years we have brought various family members and friends with us some with learning disabilities which Glyn and Claire have been amazing with. We have done the private farm tours and a few of the goat yoga sessions. It's so much fun for all! Your tummy will hurt after from laughing so much!

They do alpaca trekking, private farm tours and goat yoga with all must be prebooked!
Would thoroughly recommend a visit!

Best of all these goats will never be part of a food chain. They are bred for pets, small holdings, zoos and petting farms. Having these interactions with people whilst the goats are babies makes their transition to their next homes easier.
Gyn and Claire really do care and love their animals you can clearly see this by the way the farm is laid out and the happiness of the animals.

We will be back!!
Thanks again!

My partner & I (Kay) went on the Alpaca walking & Pygmy goat cuddling experience at Claire & Glenn's last Sunday morning. We had the most memorable time, the animals are just adorable. The visit was made all the more interesting by Claire & Glenn's extensive knowledge of their animals and their individual characters, which they shared with us - they clearly love them all very much. An added bonus was that they filmed us all and made film clips and photos available to us as part of the package - we done Claire & Glenn we are very happy customers and I can thoroughly recommend this experience to anyone that loves to get up and personal with animals. Had an absolutely fantastic day here walking the alpacas, as well as feeding and holding the Pygmy goats.
Glen and Claire hosted a brilliant walk, showed so much knowledge, care and affection towards the alpacas and also made so much effort to make sure we had enough time and photos with the animals!

Will be recommending for all my friends and family to go, and will definitely have to return for the baby goat yoga!
