Arrived for the end of season gala and it was explained that we could have a day ticket, but with a day ticket we would still need to queue and if we only got on one ride they would refund the difference, this was done...More

Suitable for toddlers and train buffs alike. Minature railway goes through trees and grassland with statues and curios to see enroute. There are steam trains and diesel with carriages open to the elements so wrap up if you go during the colder months.

What a lovely afternoon bought all day tkts for the railway. My grandson enjoyed it and the rides were good on different trains. Nice to visit the engine sheds as well. Staff all very polite and well run. Lovely grounds.

The team at Barnards are fantastic, and really friendly! Really unusual day out, but really worth it! Bring a picnic as not much nearby. Very accessible, and worth a visit.

I found this while searching for a grotto on Google as we wanted a change from the Lakeside and Bluewater grottos. It was just a few minutes down the road from us as well so seemed ideal. We were also glad that they allowed picture...More
