Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I’ve been to Wild Forest several times - both with children and just as adults – and it really is great fun. There’s a wide range of obstacles, from the basic Rookie obstacles (great for the younger kids) to the tougher/challenging ones for teens and grown-ups. The lake zone is superb and a firm favourite - especially the Deathslide, Zips and Swing-a-ding. The range of challenges is much wider than I have found anywhere else, and my kids and I have loved it every time - I thoroughly recommend it for everybody from first-timers to experienced OCR racers.
Importantly, for anybody thinking of taking their kids, the staff at Wild Forest are excellent. They’re great with children of all ages, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, encouraging, upbeat and they take safety seriously. I’m bound to be missing somebody out, but huge thanks to Sam, Kelly and Tracey for making our visits so good.
See you again soon!

We had an amazing time at Nuclear Splash at Wild Forest on Sunday.
With a nervous six-year-old in tow for her first taste of mud and obstacles, we weren't sure how it would go, but we all had a fantastic time. We achieved lots of the Rookies' obstacles - running, crawling, climbing and jumping - and had great fun in the mud and water at the lake zone. The smile on my daughter's face when she conquered the obstacles was wonderful - she genuinely loved it!
We owe a huge debt of thanks to our Nuclear Host - Kelly. She pitched everything exactly right - she was encouraging, supportive, gave great advice on the obstacles and helped us to overcome any nerves very early. She used "lets watch the grown-ups do it first" to great effect but without causing any embarrassment - greatly appreciated!
Overall, it was great fun and we're already thinking about Rookie Rush next year.
We'd thoroughly recommend it to anybody as a great way to spend an hour – even without children!
Thanks again to everybody there for helping to make it such a fun time. See you again soon.

My group of friends and I often do these kinds of activities, from muddy activity type places, tough mudder to tamer stuff like high rope activities so we are not strangers to this sort of thing. This centre is so so dangerous. We’re all up for getting dirty or pushing ourselves to do difficult activities. Here you have someone go round with you (presumably for safety). However depending on who you get depends how helpful they are. At one point someone struggled on an activity and asked for help and they just blankly looked, not in an annoyed way but just in a “what am I meant to do way” and then appeared to panic. Luckily someone else from our group helped them before they got seriously injured. Several of our group got bad cuts on their legs from the mud activity. We’ve done many of these before and never ever got injured doing so. Another of our group injured his knee badly and can’t walk, not because the activity was difficult, just because it was poorly thought out. The activities themselves were actually really lame compared to other places we’ve been, lots of walking to do not a lot. Things like monkey bars or space hoppers that weren’t even pumped up well, so half the group couldn’t even do the activity properly. So essentially you do a few activities not much different to a children’s play park, get really bad cuts/injured, then go home. The main novelty seems to be around getting muddy, but there are so many other places you can simply get mud on you, why bother going here for it. If you are considering going here, I would do more research and find somewhere else with better activities and better organised/safer.

Wow, well what can I say. From initially looking at booking a party and calling to ask questions, to booking and then arriving, every part of Nuclear races was afantastic experiance! It was fun, the staff clearly loved their jobs and the birthday party guests had a smile from start to finish. Wish I could give them many more stars. Thank you for all you done.

Visited Wild Forest for a Nuclear Splash session. Kids had an amazing time and loved the muddy fun. The Death Slide was the highlight of the day but the monkey bars over water, the muddy ditch, tunnels, magic carpet and pontoons all came a close second. Brilliant organisation!! Thank you Sam and Laura.

Spent a fantastic afternoon at the Wild Forest celebrating a much belated 12th Birthday. We took 10 boys who all thoroughly enjoyed themselves on the obstacles and loved getting muddy. The stand out favourite though was going down the death slide!
Sharon their instructor was super, making sure the boys got the most out of the afternoon & had as much fun as possible. Would definitely recommend to anyone & we will be back!!

Had my son’s 11th birthday party here at the weekend. Tracey was our instructor and she was amazing with the kids, they had such fun and we will definitely be returning. Kids got absolutely filthy without the stress of it being in our own home.

The instructors were enthusiastic and fun. All 5 kids we took ages 13-15 had great time. Something different to do which gets off the computers and takes out of comfort zone. We did wet and dry course! Great value

We just had the most amazing, fun and very active family day out at Nuclear races. There was a death slide, zip wire, monkey bars, a jump of high ledge into water, balancing across rows of round inflatables and loads of mud... A perfect fun morning out with our 18yr and 21yr old son's...
We found this place by accident whilst searching online for things to do and will definitely be going back to try the wild forest assault course next time.
Sam the organiser and our host on the day was awesome! She really encouraged everyone and got everyone participating well.
We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys adrenaline fueled activities; wants a group bonding activity or just a good family days out..
