bar that offers many different ales. most from small breweries that i personally had not heard of. no problem there, but it was very empty and did lack an atmosphere, tables with the odd drinker. nothing wrong but also not much to recommend it either.

Thank you for the very kind review. We shall endeavour to have thundering Molly on again very soon, it's tough to keep only 12 good ciders on at once!

Amazing array of ales. Regularly rotated with a wide range of brewery engagement. Great location; near train station and cool locus in the viaduct archways. Big fan

Thank you for the great review. With so many good food choices around us it just made sense to let people bring what they wanted in.

Popped in here a few times now and it usually has a good crowd, busy but not unbearable. Relaxed and friendly environment with lots of seating in an unusual setting. Definately worth a look if your'e out & about

As you’d expect from the name this pub always has a great selection of ales. They promote local breweries so it’s not just the big established names. They don’t serve food but they do allow you to get takeaway and eat it there. Go d...More

Came here with a friend of mine after cricket. Comfortable environment, comfy chairs and close to station. Very good selections of beers from low strength to quite strong. Always try and visit when I'm in Chelmsford
