About
The Queen's Theatre Hornchurch is a vibrant producing theatre in the London Borough of Havering, serving East London, Essex and beyond since 1953. As a registered charity and the cultural hub of the region, over 200,000 people enjoy the theatre's programme every year, including the best in home-produced theatre, visiting live entertainment and inspiring Learning and Participation projects. Behind the scenes almost all of our sets and costumes are all lovingly created on-site by our highly skilled carpentry workshop, scenic artists and wardrobe department. The Queen's receives regular funding from the London Borough of Havering and is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. This helps us put theatre at the heart of the cultural life of the community we serve.

This theatre used to be good and either refunded you or you could bank your money for a future show if they cancelled a show on you and vice versa. Alas that's not the case now. Due to a covid incident my partner and I, obviously, couldn't attend a recent performance and so they decided to keep our money. The two tickets cost a total of £20.00, no great loss for me, but they were really desperate for the money. We were regular customers at this theatre, but we will never be back. Also the hot food is not very good quality and overpriced and prepared by people who don't wear gloves.

I have been coming to the Queens for years and years. We saw Adrian Mole The Musical tonight and it was absolutely brilliant. Extremely talented cast who sing, act and play instruments. The place was rocking and it is a West End calibre show. You must see this show and leave with a smile on your face. Congratulations to everyone involved.

I brought my elderly mother into the cafe for lunch.
We watched the girl making sandwiches with no gloves scratching her head rubbing her face.
Very off putting so we left

We went to this theatre with my parents to watch a Christmas show and we really enjoyed our time there. The tickets were very reasonable, you could get a drink or coffee in the foyer area before and during the show. The show was enjoyable and we are hoping it comes back next year. The seats are comfortable, and the theatre is very clean.

Here sat watching Aladdin as well speak. We have visited basildon Hornchurch and Grays threater this week on the run up to Christmas and by far this was the worse Performance I have ever been to will definitely not be returning again…. There was a lot of sexual and racial comments that made me and my party feel uncomfortable. If it wasn’t for the children we would of left. The performance did not Correspond to the original story. Shame on you Hornchurch to let grays and basildon out do you considering how the public compare areas and put grays and basildon in a lower Category

Not having been to the theatre since before lockdown I was very excited to be going to see the show Love Letters. Having read the London reviews it seemed a light hearted, small cast show.
How wrong I was!
Amateur performance, with over acting loud performers. The worse being a guy playing the guitar, abrasive and out of tune. The tickets were £30 each, totally over charged for such a terrible performance. My 4 friends and I stayed until half time. Worst show I have ever seen

Do you need to show your vaccine pass to get in or is it okay to come with just a mask?
