Another treat for the family to have this close. Been to London aquarium but bit to far to have gone, stay local and support local, and you get a much fuller day. Ignore the niggles on others reviews on price, it's for a full day, you'd spend more on cinema tickets and that only lasts a couple of hours. Always something new to see as fish and all the species of sealife just do something amazing every time, so unpredictable. I was advised before travelling that couldn't take own sandwiches in and eat onsite, but not sure if that was a staff member on a bad day. Don't see why you can't. All in all fun for everyone, and surprised myself and enjoyed as much as the little ones.

Very busy, with nearly everyone walking with a pram it was difficult to get around having a double buggy myself. The staff was polite and friendly, happy to serve and patient with so many hyper toddler running about. Love the dinosaur room. Kids had lots of fun. Unfortunately cafe don't do alternative milk for dairy free customers. We went with my teens and babies.

Not good value. Pricing policy based on height - full price entry for a 3 year old ( because she’s over 90cm) accompanied by 3 paying adults - really!!! Why no child price? The aquarium is good but £48 for an hours entertainment - not good value. Reception staff were pretty officious too

We visited with 4 kids (3 of them teenagers) and all enjoyed seeing the wide variety of sealife and other animals. We spent about an hour exploring all the areas/habitats and reading about each species. My youngest daughter would have happily stayed longer if it hadn't been close to closing time, so I think we will be back! At 50% off with our adventure island annual passes, it was well worth the money. We considered eating in the cafe but 4 out of 6 are vegetarian and it didn't really cater for us. The gift shop is the biggest letdown though, a lot of low quality plastic toys or overpriced stuffed animals. I'd have bought a fridge magnet if it had Sealife Adventure on it, but they were generic photos of animals so I didn't bother. I'd love to see some Sealife Adventure branded souvenirs in there. Overall though, we didn't visit for the gift shop or the cafe, so if these elements were discounted, it would be 5 stars from us :)

Firstly frustrated that my granddaughter was measured before being aloud to enter - not quite 2 yet, and both her parents are very tall, so why does her height have anything to do with the entry price? Staff on reception were rude and made us feel unwelcome before we even started. Very small and crowded, not enough staff around exhibition to ask / help with anything. Fairly clean, but definitely could have done with a tidy up. Not worth the high price to get in

We visited today having travelled an hour and half. Very disappointed. Tickets were over priced for the experience. Underwhelmed, got around the whole venue in just over an hour, the squirrels were clearly bored and distressed running back and forth. Will not be returning

£16 for an annual pass. You can’t go wrong. Mt daughter loves the dinosaur room. Very welcoming from the staff. With our annual pass we left and we’re allowed back in. Gift shop isn’t too expensive for some items. My daughter likes the squishies for sensory so we get a new one each time. £2.50. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because would be nice to have a small sensory attraction. Lots of children have additional needs and this can help them offload when it gets too busy. Other than that. Worth every penny

I think the price is great for a year membership, can spend about 1.5hrs looking around each time, get 20% off gift shop and cafe. Little one enjoyed it and a nice variety of animals and things to see as well as the aquarium. Will be going again soon.

Hadn’t been for many years and based on my last visit I was dreading it. However, I was very pleasantly surprised and my 15 month granddaughter loved it. The aquariums and enclosures were clean and appeared well maintained. The animals seemed healthy and happy. There was plenty of information and interactive quizzes for all ages. Staff were polite and friendly. I purchased the tickets on line, saving £2 per ticket. The website promised a confirmatory email which was never received; take a screenshot or note the booking reference.

Visited 30/4/23 and it was OK. Definitely doesn't last 1-2 hours unless you hang around for a very long time. The main reason I'm making this review so bad is because the first thing I saw when walking in was otters that were left completely without water and they looked exhausted. They're usually playful (at least they have been at every other place I've visited that have otters) but these poor guys didn't look happy at all, very concerning.
