Nice, albeit blustery, walk along the sea wall. Watched kite surfers at the start of the walk, by Shoebury Common. Plenty of places to stop and sit, and even picnic benches. Would definitely benefit from having some public toilets in the park although there were...More

Visited today with my camera, plenty of spaces in car park and a lovely walk to the seafront, only saw a few species of birds and a few ducks but had a nice walk along sea front. Was expecting more birds but was a fab...More

Gunners park is easy access whether by car or walking, nice play area for kids. Dogs love it as plenty rabbits to chase and squirrels, just wish more dog owners would clean up after their dogs. I like it best when cold, crisp day sun...More

Lovely little coastal nature reserve absolutely teeming with birdlife. Interesting historic archaeology. We visited with our dog for the parkrun, which was great (the free parking was much appreciated). Unfortunately no cafe or toilets but we had done our research and knew this in advance....More

I'm very lucky as I get to walk my dog here almost every day, and I never tire of it, especially when it's overcast and there are few people around.Splendid isolation. Great place for dog walkers with plenty of bins, so it's a shame that...More

This is a lovely place to take your dog for a walk, in open countryside by the seaside. Would highly recommend for a stroll with a breath of sea air

A beautiful area to walk around and explore. I never tire of visiting. There’s always something new to see and every season brings an abundance of nature to spot and enjoy. The history of the sight (displayed on signs around the park) is really interesting...More

Great place for a stroll walk the dog. Join park run on a saturday morning. Free Watch the sun set sun rise from the sea wall. Or the kite surfers further along the beach. Peaceful lovely place that occasionally has random stuff going on.

Hi, There are toilet facilities on Shoebury Common Beach, a very short walk away. Also at the beach is Uncle Tom’s cabin for food and refreshments. There’s a child’s playground within Gunners. Hope that helps. :)
