All Weatherspoons are very similar, but in a good way, basic good food an amazing selection of drinks vodkas, gins etc and a good selection of beers/ales on the pumps. My friends and I struggle lately as our fellas like John Smiths, Tetleys etc not ales that are too high percentage wise so a visit to this Weatherspoons on a... More

I went there for lunch on Thursday 8th December with a first date. Was very impressed with the décor, the service was second to none, the waitress was very attentive & helpful. The only one criticism was the bar service, it was a bit slow, but overall, i'd give it a 8/10 & would highly recommend it to friends &... More

This is an unusual pub in that it looks like a barn inside and out. It is next to the parish church and also Asda's so is ideally located for passing trade. Due to the layout inside there is not much room for the customary display of local photographs, but there are a few. My all-day breakfast was again well-cooked... More

Took the youngest and his girlfriend for dinner to say thank you for helping us out with looking after the house while we away..... Unfortunately food was very poor and had to send one back as steak over cooked, mushroom and tomato totally raw (did not see heat) and most definitely a few days old.... In fairness it was replaced... More

I always have a stacked gourmet burger it's so nice. Watch out they sometimes don't give all 6 onion rings so tell them if that happens. Amazing value. Lovely food.

We arrived at Parson's Barn for a nice Saturday afternoon meal with my father & husband. We ordered a Triple Chicken Feast, Pasta Pomodoro & Fish & Chips. How down hill has the food gone! The Triple Chicken Feast looked disgusting, dry and bland with a small portion of chips, the Pasta Pomodoro was not cooked but the salmon was... More

Great to see such an ancient building restored so beautifully. Lots of local history and information too. Wetherspoon food is good value for money and perfect for all budgets with some excellent money saving offers.
