I started my walk at Blackwater Lane, the address given in this listing. It leads down a mainly untarred track past the water treatment centre. When I got out of the car the stench from the water treatment works was very noticeable. A sign for...More

The river walk is always a good place to go for a wander. It's just a pity there are so many stinging nettles and hemlock plants about, carefully timed mowing would improve this. There used to be buttercups and a lot of other wild flowers...More

I do love the river walk, especially when going for a run. It's a touch of tranquility when walking and gives me some inspiration for a burst of speed while out for a run as I know I'm almost home!

The river walk is always a delight. Fish swimming and plenty of benches to sit and contemplate life!
