Unusual castle, off the beaten track, but well worth the effort. Grounds well kept and very nice to walk round. Castle exhibits not very clearly ldentified. We should have taken the guided tour. Cafe on site but we did not visit.

Visited here with a car club. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the castle. There was entertainment and games for children in the courtyard which was very popular. The food in the cafe was good.

Unfortunately access to the upstairs rooms of the Castle is limited due to the number of steps to get to that area. We do have lots of seats dotted around for people to rest though.
