The flight simulator was a great experience, you can choose your flight routes, destination and take off airport. Stuart and Alan are really knowledgeable and will guide you through the flying process and also throw in some curveballs for you to deal with along the flight. You dont need any prior experience or knowledge to do this, I would recommend it to anyone!

This is an amazing experience with the friendliest (and most patient) guys. The sim is amazing - I can’t even begin to explain how wonderful this was. The entire session went so quick and I only wish I’d booked more time as we came over from Belfast to experience this. Can’t wait to return again as it put me at more ease when flying again and everything was explained calmly and warmly. Thank you so much and can’t wait to book to come across again.

A warm and friendly welcome from Stuart and Alan immediately put us both at ease and we knew we could relax and enjoy our time flying the Airbus A320. From the preflight briefing, delivered with such professionalism and enthusiasm, right down to our final touch down in old Hong Kong airport, we both agreed that our 2 hours spent in the simulator was a truly amazing experience. We had no idea what to expect, and admit to feeling slightly anxious before we arrived. We learned so much and didn’t feel embarrassed to ask silly questions or make mistakes. If you are having similar concerns…don’t hesitate…just book it. It far surpassed anything we had imagined, and having researched other sims in the region, this was unbelievable value for money. A perfect gift for someone…or I may even return to take the controls myself instead of backseat flying.!! My fear of flying is cured.! Thank you Stuart and Alan…and your lovely dogs. After researching various local options for a flight sim experience Simulator Adventures was the one I chose. The booking process was very well organised and I managed to secure a 2 hour slot on a Saturday morning. After a briefing with co-owner Alan my son and I shared the 'flying' time practicing landings and takeoffs at all the airports we fancied. Of course the time went by very quickly but it was a very satisfying morning. Thank you once again Alan for your patience and sharing your experience as a commercial pilot. Hope to come back one day soon.

Amazing experience! We loved every minute! The brothers, Stuart and Alan were fab, so welcoming, and the pilot (I’m so sorry, I can’t remember his name), was amazing. We flew to New York, East Midlands and Tenzing-Hillary. The simulator is amazing, you have to remind yourself it’s not real! We were 2 adults, a 6 year old and the baby who I had in the sling. Fantastic experience from the plane seats where you wait, to flying and landing a plane! Oh and lovely dogs too! Thank you so much.

Stewart was really friendly and emailed me straight away to rectify something missing on the booking. We arrived slightly late due to getting lost but Stewart was really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The simulator was really realistic and as a nervous passenger, he put me at ease. My partner absolutely loved this as a birthday present and he learnt a lot and landed his first plane! Stewart explained everything about the plane and even let my partner keep a flight plan to take away! Would 100% recommend.

Bought an experience for my husband and had a fantastic hour there today. Met at the door by a lovely gentleman and 2 beautiful rescue dogs (Trevor and Willow!) Free drinks in an impressive waiting room with live streaming of flights in and out of Manchester airport. We sat with Steve the pilot for a little while who was very chatty and informative of all things planes! Myself and daughter sat in the back seats while my husband sat up front with Steve. We flew from Manchester to Newcastle and also took off and circled round New York and simulated a bird hit and how a pilot copes with an engine failure. Steve was a fantastic teacher and really explained things and made me, a nervous passenger (on real planes!) feel a lot more positive about flying. As we left I mentioned turbulence and how it makes me nervous. I was told just to imagine it being a bumpy road and not be nervous at all. Great advice that I won’t forget. A fantastic experience that I really recommend.

What an amazing experience! World class Airbus simulator with totally realistic effects. The full process right from flight planning through to shut down post flight. The instruction was brilliant - informative, detailed and fun. A truly exceptional experience relevant for all - experienced pilots through to complete new comers with an aviation interest. Unbelievable value for money!!!

Cannot recommend this experience highly enough. The guys there are amazing and flying and landing the Airbus 320 is an experience I will never forget. So realistic I was looking for the duty free shop !!! Fabulous, awesome!!

What a truly amazing and fantastic experience!! It was so realistic that I genuinely forgot I was in a simulator in Salford Quays; from the cock-pit set-up to the visuals outside of the runway/Airport gates to the vast array of buttons, switches and dials both overhead and Infront – it was just like being in an actual Airbus 320 at Manchester Airport. I was able to go through the whole procedure – planning and scheduling the flight path (could choose a variety of locations to fly from/to), taxiing and departure, cruise control in the air (and taking over when we had turbulence) and then right down to arrival and post flight shut down. I even managed to deal with a fire on board (simulated, not real!!) Stuart and Alan were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating (allowing relatives to be ‘passengers’ in the cockpit too). You could tell they certainly knew their stuff as they were highly informative, guiding through every step of the way and explaining what everything did. It was all done in an instructive yet fun manner too making the whole experience really enjoyable. I really can’t recommend this experience enough – whether you are a retired pilot or work in the aviation industry, or just a complete novice who has always wanted to fly a plane – give it a go, you truly will enjoy it and an experience you’ll never forget. Next time I’m in a real plane (as a passenger!), I’ll be thinking back to this experience and going through all that I was taught and reliving the memories.
