Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was amazed at how understanding and helpful the management team were on my visit last night when making enquires about accessibility for disabilities, they were so kind and amazing and made sure I got the best experience on the night. Such a breath of fresh air. Could not commend them highly enough. Well done and thank you guys. The show was fantastic and the staff were amazing and quick even at the bar. 5 stars!

The 'Westie' is a fantastic venue, catering for all abilities & ages, with so many different things to take part in like pottery, sewing, painting & events like comedy club & music bands. Also lots of clubs like PAG Dance club for children with special needs. This venue feels like home, its local & the staff are very friendly & accommodating. I would definitely recommend the West End Centre.

I was at the West End Centre on Friday for the Badac Theatre production which explored the plight of refugees and set out to challenge entrenched ideas of who they are and why they leave their countries. What an astonishing, visceral, thought-provoking performance! I know it will continue to resonate with me for a long time to come.
This performance has left me resolved to make sure I continue to support as many theatrical events here as possible in the future. The Westy is excellent at seeking out productions that will educate, inform and provoke discussion as well as entertain and the intimate atmosphere is so well suited to niche events. There is often an opportunity for Q and A's after performances too.

Having seen them at the Brixton academy in their heyday, this couldn't have been more different. But what a great venue! Intimate, friendly and a good sound. A smashing place and I will certainly be checking out more bands in the future.

I went to see the Urban Voodoo Machine on their latest tour. The gig was superb, lots of great music and entertainment. The venue itself is friendly, well set out and with great acoustics. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The bar is small, but with a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices.

We had never been to this venue before but can confirm it is a lovely intimate venue with a good bar. We arrived just 5 minutes before the band came on but this was ample time to buy a beer and get back in to the auditorium for a fabulous gig. Very impressed by the efficiency of the venue and all the staff were happy and helpful. Recommended!

There is no doubt that the Centre provides is a great facility for Aldershot with a full and varied programme but I'm afraid I have mixed feelings overall. We've been here twice now, once to see a band when there was only a couple of dozen people in the audience and, more recently, for a comedy night which was packed. The performance room is small and intimate (which is great) and, in my view, would be ideally suited to a standing event or where the audience is seated around a scattering of tables and chairs (cabaret style). The comedy night was a seated show in a theatre arrangement and there were just too many seats. The leg room was none-existent and the chairs not overly comfortable. I appreciate that there will be a desire to accommodate as many customers as possible but the place just felt a bit crammed.
The staff are really friendly and helpful and there is a bar with a good selection of offerings, including one cask ale and a range of bottled options, although the area lacks atmosphere and seating is limited for a busy night. There is a good sized car park right behind the Centre and the place is only 5 minutes walk from the town centre if you need food or drinks before or after the show.
