I was at the West End Centre on Friday for the Badac Theatre production which explored the plight of refugees and set out to challenge entrenched ideas of who they are and why they leave their countries. What an astonishing, visceral, thought-provoking performance! I know...More

Having seen them at the Brixton academy in their heyday, this couldn't have been more different. But what a great venue! Intimate, friendly and a good sound. A smashing place and I will certainly be checking out more bands in the future.

There is no doubt that the Centre provides is a great facility for Aldershot with a full and varied programme but I'm afraid I have mixed feelings overall. We've been here twice now, once to see a band when there was only a couple of...More

Some big names appear here - we have seen Ross Noble and Shappi Khorsandi. Friendly, helpful staff who handle the intermission bar rush very efficiently. Not the biggest auditorium so quite intimate, but awkward if you end up behind a large head & shoulders!

The West End Centre is a fantastic venue in town for small-scale theatre, music and art. I have seen some big names perform here including Al Murray, Dave Gorman and Blur. How many small art centres can say that? The facilities are comfortable with a...More

Lots of great eateries just around the corner at the Westgate, or there's the Queen Hotel opposite the Westgate.
