Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A marvellous outing with Anita and Caffrey (her hawk). A treat for 3 generations of our family aged from 7 to early 70s. Anita’s knowledge was fascinating. Great experience. Thank you Anita

Anita is so knowledgeable and kindly shared this with us. The walk around Chawton House in the woods and meadow were lovely and Casper was an absolute star. We loved seeing him hunt. A really special Christmas present!

Had a fantastic day at Chawton House with Anita and her wonderful Hawk Guinness and Owl Willow.
Would recommend this activity to anyone as it was a relaxing walk with so much more to offer. Anita was extremely knowledgeable and made the walk interesting, she went the extra mile, so thank you Bernise SSS Ltd

We booked this Hawk and Owl Walk as a Team building trip. We had a brilliant day and Anita was so lovely and hugely informative. Highly recommend booking.

Such an amazing experience, from someone that wasn’t even sure if they wanted to participate and was happy to be a spectator, the moment I got there I was comfortable and wanted to join in. Anita is friendly and knowledgeable with interesting facts and stories. London was amazing from start to finish. Would highly recommend and before we even got back in the car we were talking about another visit.

Wonderful morning walking in the private wood with London and Anita. Everything was perfect from my daughter buying the gift voucher, booking the experience to the day itself. We learnt so much about Hawks during the walk. It is obvious that Anita's bond and relationship with London was very special. Walking in the woods gave us an insight into hawks natural behaviour in a beautiful setting. A very enjoyable two hours and something we will remember for ever. We are planning on going back in the winter to experience the hawks hunting. Thank you Anita and London

A brilliant experience - a birthday gift which I will cherish for years to come. Everything about this morning was perfect: the weather, the setting, a superb host and of course London and Caspar, the incredible Harris hawks who accompanied us on our walk.
Anita was a perfect host: informative, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Her empathy with the birds, devoted passion for what she does and her love of the extraordinary life she leads is evident from the moment you meet her. The walk was inspirational - a few authentic hours, absorbed in the natural world with these remarkable creatures.
Spectacular, informative and at times philosophical: my son and I loved this memorable day.

We took my 9 year old son for a hawk walk as a birthday treat as he’s obsessed with birds of prey. We had THE MOST amazing time! Such amazing creatures to watch and get close to and the handler was so friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. The scenery was also absolutely stunning. We had the best day.

Thoroughly enjoyed our walk with Anita and Guinness. Learnt a lot from Anita about Hawks and the countryside, Anita obviously loves what she does and Guinness seemed very happy too! We were in the grounds of Chawton house, so a lovely backdrop and great place for lunch.

Thank you to Anita of Hampshire Hawk Walks for giving us the opportunity to fly Caffrey, a Harris’s Hawk. It was an amazing experience, and great to become part of Caffrey’s ‘family’ and see him in action in the lovely woodland setting. Anita is clearly passionate about her life with raptors, and incredibly knowledgeable; consequently it was fascinating to hear about the history of falconry and the traits of different raptors.
I cannot recommend Anita and Hampshire Hawk Walks highly enough, and am looking forward to arranging a walk with Willow, her Barn Owl, over the Summer.
