About
Sammy Miller MBE is a motorcycling legend, 11 times British Champion, winner of over 1400 events and still winning competitions more than 50 years after his first victory. The Museum houses one of the finest collections of fully restored motorcycles in the world, including factory racers and exotic prototypes, with the collection constantly evolving as new bikes are acquired. There are over 400 rare and classic motorcycles on display in four galleries - one of which showcases the fabulous Norton Collection. The museum is set within an attractive courtyard, with tea rooms, craft shops and children's play area. It is also home to many chickens, donkeys, goats, alpacas and two aviaries.

This motorcycle museum is simply stunning, you’ll need a long time looking around, as there’s multiple levels of hundreds of bikes, all in excellent condition, it’s well worth paying the entrance fee, one minute you’ll think you seen everything and turn a corner and there’s more.I’m just simply amazed at this place, and my dad loved it, took him back to his younger days. Don’t hesitate about going here.

Wonderful museum but simply AWFUL cafe! Dishwater tea and a vegan lattice that was rock hard - tasted like it was probably a month old. Please get someone capable of running the cafe to an acceptable standard - someone worthy of such a great location, with its many visitors.

Called in on a sunday lunchtime fora browse in the small craft shops and to have a coffee. It was very busy but we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks.

You don't have to be a bike nut to enjoy this amazing museum.
My husbands birthday treat.
Apart from all the beautiful restored motorcycles, there is a lot of social history here.
We had a wonderful welcome from the lady at the admissions desk, the Courtyard is a tranquil place to relax and catch your breath and their are plenty of animals to see.

One of the best museums we have ever visited.

My Dad had had a Norton in his earlier days and I had had a couple of times in my life where i had motorbikes. I had passed the location before but when I actually went inside was totally surprised at the amount of biker's meeting in the courtyard with so many different types of bikes. A real atmosphere and not what I had imagined. There was somewhere to get food, good easy parking and a real warm welcome at the desk for the museum. The amount of bikes was incredible! The history, the quality of the machines and you soon learn the passion the team have put into preserving and rebuilding so many motorbikes. Awesome. So two thoughts............. Should have taken my Dad there while he was still alive, the Norton area was brilliant and secondly, why had I taken so long to go!!!! Thank you for the experience

When we visited the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum we were impressed by the amount of achievements Sammy had earned. We saw a vast number of beautifully restored new and old motorbikes. The museum’s collection includes both road and racing machines. We also had fun with farm animals like Alpacas, chickens, geese, goats , sheep and donkeys. We had a lovely cake at the cafe too. We had a wonderful day out!

Fantastic collection of motorcycles at this wonderful museum. Lots that I'd never seen before, even though I'm a bit of an addict! Nice cafe area with good food and cakes! Even saw the legendary Sammy himself. Still tinkering away in his workshop and thoroughly enjoying it!!!

There is a huge quantity of bikes, far more than we expected and they are well set out as grouped by type of bike and / or activity that they were used for. Lady on reception desk could not have been friendlier. Great cafe outside as well
