Do not come in the christmas period
Love paultons park, but do not book in the colder months. Came on the 16th of December and all the vast majority of the rides were not working because of the cold, my youngest went on a few peppa pig rides but my older girls were very bored and disappointed so we had to leave after a couple of hours. We checked the website the night before and morning before we came and there were no warnings of rides being turned off or unavailable, very very disappointing.
Dear P1694SHsamuelc Thank you for your review following your recent visit to the Park. Here at Paultons we value all feedback received from our welcomed guests as this helps us to continually monitor and review our operating procedures. We are delighted to have been able to welcome you to Paultons during our festive Celebration of Christmas event however, we are sorry to learn that your visit was not the complete success you had hoped for. There is no doubt that you did not see the Park at its best on 16th December 2022 due to the extremely cold temperatures experienced which delayed a number of the advertised rides and attractions from opening at 10am. As we are sure you can understand, the weather is one aspect of the Park operation which is regrettably completely outside of our control. As Paultons Park is an outdoor attraction, the vast majority of the rides and attractions are outside and open to the elements. Rides are machines and unfortunately mechanical objects can be affected by extreme weather conditions, including ice. There is a help article available on our website about the affect extreme weather has on rides to assist with visit planning and the option to change the date is available. This was also shared on our social media at the start of the period of extremely cold weather. Whilst we certainly do understand the disappointment caused to your family due to the delayed opening of selected rides, we would like to assure you that the health and safety of our guests is always our number one priority and our dedicated Engineering team worked tirelessly to get the rides open as soon as possible, with health and safety remaining their number one priority. On the day of your visit we were pleased to be able to have the majority of the advertised rides open by lunchtime, with a great selection open to enjoy from 10am. We were also pleased to be able to continue to run our festive shows and entertainments programme which we do hope that your family enjoyed, along with the numerous illuminations around the Park. It is disappointing to note that you did not speak to our Guest Information Team about your concerns prior to leaving the Park early as we are confident that they would have been able to turn your visit around. We do hope that we may have the opportunity to welcome you back to Paultons again one day soon and thank you again for taking the time and trouble to leave a review. Kind regards Paultons Park

Good family day out, shame about the prices and shop manager
Visited Paultons Park in August with my partner and 3 little ones. We had a fantastic day at Peppa Pig World and we didn't realise just how much the park had to offer! Our eldest daughter didn't want to hang around peppa pig all day, so she was able to go elsewhere in the park to enjoy the rollercoasters and other rides in the dinosaur land and tornado land. The food was a bit pricey, especially if you're buying for a larger family. Next time, we'll take our own packed lunch and buy food only if we are desperate. For a family of 5, our lunch came to around £50! Too much. The entry fee is extortionate swell. Luckily, our two youngest children were under 1 metre tall so they got in for free, but for the 2 adults and our 11 year old, it cost £150 altogether. I empathise with the fact that businesses have to generate a profit after covid, but this is way too expensive. I remember when it was only £20 entry! A majority of staff we encountered were lovely, especially Aaron/Arran in one of the restaurants. He was very helpful. However, we witnessed an older member of staff in the big shop behaving nastily toward a younger assistant. She spoke to her like she was a child, rather than an employee, and I could see the young girl was getting upset. She only stopped her nastiness when I interrupted to ask a question about a product. I was sad to see this. I suggest some re-training be carried out.
Dear lauramk1985 Thank you for taking the time to leave a review following your visit to Paultons during the Summer of 2022. It is great to have been able to welcome you and your family to the Park and we are delighted to learn that you found something for all of your party to experience and enjoy. We are however saddened to learn of your disappointment in regards to the price of our admission tickets. We are extremely proud of the unique experience that we are able to provide all of our guests. Admission tickets to Paultons Park include over 70 rides and attractions covering Lost Kingdom, Peppa Pig World and our brand new Tornado Springs area, along with our many animal enclosures and beautiful landscaped gardens. Therefore, we certainly believe that we offer a full day’s entertainment across our 140 acre site. Here at Paultons we do and will continue to heavily invest in the Park and our line up of rides and attractions to ensure that we are providing the best possible experience and attractions for our valued guests. Ordinarily we receive many positive comments in relation to the friendliness and professionalism of our staff members however, we would like to offer our apologies if you felt this was not the case during your visit. Your feedback has been passed on to our Senior Management Team for their information. We do hope that we may have the opportunity to welcome you back to Paultons again one day in the future and thank you again for your review. Kind regards Paultons Park

    Not worth the price
My wife and I hadn’t been to Paultons since we were young children. We though before our valentines break away from our son, we would visit the park. When going online to book, our eyes nearly popped out at the admission price! We were expecting big things for £40+! The gardens are absolutely immaculate and my son enjoyed going into the various little themed gardens. Peppa Pig World is absolutely fantastic. The programme comes to life and my sons face was a picture seeing all the different things. He loved the sailing club boats. The Lost Kingdom seemed a bit lost in my opinion… the dinosaurs didn’t look very realistic and we’d been told before they move. I didn’t see one move! The dinosaur jeep safari was probably the worst attraction we went on. We normally take a picnic to attractions but thought as a one off we would treat ourselves. Although the variety is ok throughout the park, the prices were a complete joke. Enough to price anybody out! We went in the main restaurant which was filthy… dirty tables everywhere, staff clueless and the wait for food was terrible. Our drinks didn’t even come in a glass! My son wanted an ice cream and as we waited for one to be made a member of staff picked the flake up with their bare hands as well as the cone. I asked them to make it again and they rolled their eyes. This seemed to be a reoccurring problem on our visit - the staff looked like they didn’t want to be there. It may be Disney prices but it’s definitely not Disney service. Although we had a good day, I really don’t feel like tickets are worth £41 each.
Dear LiamBethAdventures Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave a review following your recent visit to Paultons. We are delighted to hear that you and your family thoroughly enjoyed Peppa Pig World and that you were impressed with our landscaped gardens. Entry tickets to Paultons include over 70 rides and attractions across a site spanning 140 acres and we do truly feel that our tickets offer excellent value for money, for a full day's family entertainment. We can only apologise that you do not feel this to be the case and that your visit did not fully meet your expectations. It is saddening to read your feedback in relation to Lost Kingdom, our dinosaur themed area which opened at Paultons in 2016, featuring two world class rollercoasters along with family rides, animatronic dinosaurs and much more. With regards to our food and beverage offering, we take great pride in the quality and value of the the meals prepared and served, along with the service provided and we are sorry to learn of your disappointment. We usually receive praise in relation to our food and beverage offering, the staff and the cleanliness of our restaurants so please be assured that your feedback has been shared with the Food & Beverage Management Team for their information. We appreciate the time taken to share your feedback with us and do hope that we may be able to welcome you back to Paultons again sometime soon. Kind regards Paultons Park

Great fun for young children. Feels rather overpriced.
We have been looking forward to visiting paultons for a long time time with our four year olds. Overall we had a great day. We were visiting in February so not too busy. We spent most of our time in Peppa Pig world which was great fun for the kids. Not too long to queue for the rides max 15 minutes. A good selection for their age. Their favourite was probably the soft play and the ride on dinosaurs. The ticket prices with no discount feels quite expensive. I cannot comment on the restaurants as we brought a packed lunch. I think the park could be improved with some more interactive, experiential rides. Maybe a show. The rides seemed quite old fashioned and Legoland we prefer for the rides on offer and choice of things to do. Overall though a very good day out for families in the new forest area.
Dear NatalieO734 Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to leave a review for Paultons. It is great to hear that overall you had a great day with us and we thank you for your feedback. With entry tickets to Paultons including access to all areas and over 70 rides and attractions, we do feel that we offer excellent value for money. Car parking is also completely free of charge here at Paultons unlike many of our competitors who charge for this facility. We invest heavily in the Park, and will continue to do so, to ensure that we offer a high quality experience with first class rides and attractions for our guests to enjoy, in a safe and clean environment. Again we thank you for your review and do hope to see you again sometime soon. Kind regards Paultons Park

    Really disgusting feeding room
I went with my family including a 5 month old baby. I was happy to know that baby changing room has feeding room, but it was really disgusting to feed there as it was right next to toilet. Imagine feeding your baby when someone is pooping next door. I myself felt like puking. Felt really bad for the little one. Also, the feeding seat was highly uncomfortable. It was like a small bench. I wish the park could have a decent feeding room.
Dear Shruti S Thank you for you review and we are sorry to see that you have left a 1* rating for Paultons. Our Baby Care Centres have been carefully designed with nursing parents in mind and include a microwave, baby changing area, private feeding room and a separate toilet cubical for convenience. This toilet is intended for the users of the Baby Care Centre and is not a general use toilet. At Paultons we are pleased to support nursing mothers and have stickers around the Park provided by The Breast Feeding Network to spread awareness. We appreciate, however, that some nursing mothers prefer privacy and we are pleased to provide this facility. We trust that overall you thoroughly enjoyed your visit to Paultons and we thank you again for your review. Kind regards Paultons Park

    Overpriced
It's a nice park with some fun rollercoasters. It's just too expensive. Only just before COVID it was about £110 for a season ticket and about £20 to get in. Now that's £250 for the season and about £45 if bought in advance. More than Thorpe park which is bigger with many more rides. I can't really fault the park; as I said the rides are good and the landscaping excellent. I've seen responses from the park about how you only have to go 6 times in a year to save money; well that was also true 4 years ago, but at least than half the price. The only plus side is that they seem to have priced many people out of visiting. Today the car park was half empty and we never queued more than 15 minutes. Pre COVID, sunny Sundays in may half term would have led to 45 minute queues. Has the golden goose been cut open?
Dear 536andye, We are saddened to see that you have rated Paultons Park just 2 stars despite your comments that you had a nice day, we have good rides and the landscaping excellent. At Paultons we are very proud of the value for money we are able to provide our guests and the services we offer. Admission tickets to Paultons includes over 70 rides and attractions covering Paultons Park, Tornado Springs, Lost Kingdom and Peppa Pig World therefore offering a full day's entertainment across a 140 acre site. Paultons has recently been voted the best value theme park in the UK and the third best value in Europe following research and analysis by Touch Casino. Paultons Park is also proud to have been voted the number one amusement park in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards five years in a row and is the only amusement park in the UK to have ever achieved this. We believe these accolades recognise the service and efforts put in by our team to ensure a high quality, enjoyable experience is offered to all of our guests. We thank you for taking the time and trouble to review us and we do hope that we are able to welcome you back to Paultons in the future. Kind regards, Paultons Park

    Not Disability Friendly Avoid
Arrived and was asked by the guy on the door if he could measure our middle child to see if she was tall enough. No problem. No she needs to put shoes on. Explained she had ASD and this would upset her told she needed shoes to enter the park. I’m holding my son with no shoes on. Jobs worth wouldn’t give in so put the shoes on my little one which causes a major meltdown for over half an hour. Complained to someone same response it’s our policy. No it’s law to make reasonable adjustments for disabilities she didn’t care. Went to get access pass only to be interrogated as to what the disability was even though we had filled all the information in prior to visit. Went on a ride and my daughter was told to stop touching the gate. Words use ‘leave it’ like she is a dog. This park clearly needs to update its staff training for special needs completely ruined the day. Little one didn’t recover from the upset at the beginning.
Dear Sightsee51639117339, Thank you for your review which we are sorry to see comes with a 1* rating. Here at Paultons we do understand the issues and difficulties faced by families who have a relation or child with a disability and we do everything possible to make the visit an enjoyable experience. Whilst we do make reasonable adjustments, all children must be measured with their shoes on, both upon arrival and when using the rides, in line with company policy. We can only apologise for any distress experienced at the time by your daughter and we thank you for bringing your concerns to the team’s attention on the day. We thank you again for taking the time and trouble to leave a review and do hope that we may be able to welcome you back again soon. Kind regards, Paultons Park

Too much waiting around and poor service. Splash park playing up!
Positives * My kids had a great time! They loved the rides and attractions. * ride operators / cafe staff are lovely * Landscaping / general appearance of the park is brilliant Negatives * There is no way the meter bar held at the door is 1 meter! I measured our daughter on the morning we attended the park and she’s 96cm tall. When we got in the park we measured her at the mr dinosaur Peppa Pig ride and she was 97cm on that chart. * We had to wait about 20 minutes to purchase a new ticket for her. * I asked the question ‘do the children get to go on more rides once they turn a meter?’ I was told yes by several members of staff. It’s absolute nonsense. None of the rides (I could see) ask for a child to be specifically a meter tall - most are 90cm. * The queue times in Peppa Pig world weren’t accurate (specifically for the Mister Dinosaur / grandpa pig’s train ride). Both queues said 10 mins and ended up being half an hour each. * When the sun came out I took my daughters to the splash park. As soon as they were in their swimwear and in the play area the water was turned off! We waited half an hour before we gave up. I honestly felt like I was on a stitch up tv show by the end of the day.
Dear roflcopter Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of Paultons Park. We are saddened to read that you have rated Paultons only two stars, although you have noted that your children had a great time, and you found the members of staff that you encountered to be friendly and welcoming. Our height measuring bars are calibrated to ensure that they are a metre tall, as well as being calibrated against the measuring charts that are around the park at the entrance to rides. Our height policy details that all guests must be measured with their shoes on, and our gate staff are not given the autonomy to make exceptions and encounter numerous challenges on a daily basis with regard to their decision making about height, but they are trained to adhere to our entrance and accessibility requirements and to take a fair and consistent approach. Every effort is made to ensure that consistency and accuracy are maintained throughout the Park. With regard to paying for children, once children get to the height of 1 metre we do charge for them, as at this height there are only a very small number of rides they are unable to use i.e. Cobra, Cyclonator, Edge and Magma, with Storm Chaser, Flight of the Pterosaur and Velociraptor having a secondary age restriction of 4yrs after the primary height restriction of 1 metre. All of the other rides including all those in Peppa Pig World, a child of 1 metre will be able to use, albeit accompanied by a responsible adult. Therefore with a child being able to access the majority of the rides when they reach 1 metre we believe it is justified that an admission charge is paid. At Paultons, we make every effort to ensure that our queue times remain manageable and efficient, with many positive reviews reflecting this, and queue times are constantly monitored to ensure that they are correctly reflected on the app and queue times boards around the park. We are sorry if this was not the case during your visit however, as we hope you can appreciate, the number of guests entering the queue line can fluctuate between checks. Additionally, we can only apologise that you did not get to enjoy the Water Kingdom during your day. Although the splash park is suspended for very short periods throughout the day to ensure that is kept to the highest standard of cleanliness, had you have spoken to a member of staff in the area they would have been able to inform you of an approximate time that it would have been reopened in order for your family to enjoy the attraction. We do hope that you have been provided with some clarity on the reasons behind your concerns and hope to welcome you back for a more successful visit one day in the future. Kind Regards Paultons Park

Discrimination towards Ethnic, African Muslim communities
As a Muslim African women visiting Paultons park with my children I was treated and spoken to differently by Paulton Employees and managers from other white people. I was accused of playing the race card when I raised my concerns to Paultons manager. However evidently their own website only show paultons park with white people. #PaultonsSpeakUp #Discrimination #Equality #Justice #Summer2023

Playing the race card in Paulsons Park
Highly disappointed! Firstly I would like to point out m, I am a disabled person with two young children visiting this place with my friends. The staff were so rude. No one is helpful, and upon raising my concerns to 3 of the managers- I was old by one of them “I believe my staff” implying I am lying and that “I was playing the race card”. The managers also do not care about your experiences in the park and was horrified the way I was treated. I went to the park for my children’s birthday and I have to say this was the worst experience I ever had. I really believe if I was a white women called Karen- I would of been treated with a lot of respect! Also, even a child with autism are not prioritized on rides as they should be, even with a queue assist wrist band. This was something I brought up to the staff and managers and to my disbelief I was told “ I do not think my staff would do that” Spent over £165 on tickets for this! Would highly not recommend going if your a person of color!
Dear Y L Jehani Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave a review and we note that you have sadly provided just a 1* rating. They could not, however, control the weather or allow you to use the Queue Assist Pass outside of the policy outlined on our website and literature provided. As per our policy, in order to ensure that ride access is fair for all of our guests, we are only able to admit one Queue Assist Group per ride cycle. We can only apologise that you had to experience a short wait to use the Helicopter Ride however, as we hope you can appreciate, we do need to take a consistent approach and are unable to make any exceptions to the way the scheme operates. Should you wish to discuss your experience with us, please do email guestservices@paultons.co.uk for further assistance. Kind regards Paultons Park

What a brilliant place this is, spotlessly clean, staff are some of the friendliest people I have ever come across at such a place like this, genuinely every one we met made it perfectly clear they love working there, which is great to see

Special mention to Lee (recently promoted) who stopped for a chat with us today, it’s these little touches which make it a fantastic place to visit - our little one loved it, and seeing her face light up when meeting Peppa & George will be long lasting memory

Keep up the great work, despite living 5 hours away I’m sure we will be back at some point 🤞

Day was brilliant from start to finish.

Lovely friendly staff, more rides open than expected.

The only downside was the food. Ate at the American fast food restaurant and the burger was just a mouthful of gristle- my 3 year old spat hers out and couldn’t eat it 😢 major waste of £12.

Went mid-week in term time with our toddler so it was very, very quiet. All the rides in Peppa Pig world were a walk on and the only time we queued was to meet Peppa. The theming is great and perfect for little ones. Only downsides were limited choice of very basic and overpriced food (as is usually the case with these places) and some of the staff didn’t seem to be happy to be there but overall it was great and in 1.5 days we got to see everything we wanted to and have multiple rides on everything in Peppa Pig world.

Dear Y7711NGelizabethl Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and feedback. We are delighted to learn that you were able to maximise your visit, enjoying the rides and attractions many times due to the very short queue times. It is also brilliant to read that you were impressed with the themeing of Peppa Pig World. We are sorry to note your disappointment in relation to the choice of food on offer, on quiet days not all of the food & beverage kiosks at the Park will be open because the Park is designed to cope with the high visitors numbers that we experience in the summer holidays. As we hope you can appreciate, it would not be necessary or economic for all of these kiosks to be open on days when we have low visitor numbers. Customer service is a top priority to us here at the Park and we are regularly commended on the friendliness of the staff and can only apologise if you feel this was not the case with some members of staff. We value all feedback received and do hope to be able to welcome you back at Paultons again one day. Kind Regards Paultons Park

We have visited every year since our son was 2, he's now 7.
We are never bored as the park is constantly updating and building new rides.
We do spend more time out of Peppa Pig World now as our son is a lot braver and tall enough for the rest that the park provides. We all had a fantastic day, no more than 20 minutes to wait for a ride.
The staff are all friendly and welcoming, the grounds team do a brilliant job of keeping the park litter free and the gardens are beautiful.
The Halloween decorations were even better than last year!
Thank you and see you next year!

Dear 271elises, Thank you for your 5 star review following your recent visit to Paultons Park and we are thrilled to have been able to welcome you to the Park for the last 5 years! We are pleased you were able experience other areas of the Park outside of Peppa Pig World. Paultons Park also have other themed areas including our mid-western American town - Tornado Springs, our dinosaur themed land - Lost Kingdom, a world of strange mixed-up creatures in Critter Creek and Wild Lands which is home to a variety of different animals! It is great to read your positive comments regarding the friendly and welcoming staff that you encountered during your visit, along with the clean and pleasant grounds/gardens throughout the park. We will certainly be sure to pass on your kind feedback to our Grounds and Gardens Teams via their Management Teams. We are also pleased to hear that you enjoyed all of the Halloween decorations during October for the Halloween event and we very much look forward to welcoming you and your family back to the park again next season. Kind regards Paultons Park

Great day out for all ages. Lots of different rides and areas to explore and even though it was one of the nicer weather days in half term, didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes for any ride. We prefer it to some of the bigger theme parks

5 out 5. Would give more if I could.

We attended your park again yesterday. I just wanted to say we once again had an amazing time. I’m truly astounded by your staff. Extra attentive, kind and thoughtful, I cannot praise them enough. I’ve never seen customer service like you give, other companies and parks could take a leaf out of your book. Also, once again, extremely clean and tidy. Thank you again for making my family’s experience truly amazing. I hope this gets passed onto your staff, they deserve every praise. Thank you once again!

Same as last year - a two day break booked through paultons. Great Halloween theming, great staff, shortish queues, love it!
We dared the cyclonator this year (eldest getting braver!) - a pretty intense ride with a view of pepper pig world which was fun!
Our eldest is 9, rides will be fine for her for the next couple of years
Great park, we’ll be back at some point
Two day deals are worth looking at through the website - decent hotel selection and second day tickets free

Dear Ricardo32, Thank you for your 5 star review. We are delighted to have been able to welcome you back to Paultons for another Halloween visit and we thank you for your kind feedback regarding the great theming, our staff and queue times. Paultons is a family owned and run theme park so it is always a pleasure to receive such praise from our valued guests and we will certainly be sure to pass on your comments to the Park's Senior Management Team for their information. We are thrilled to read that the Cyclonator was a particular highlight of your day. Cyclonator is a Gyro Swing that spins and swings you to a height of 25 metres! It is located in our 1950's mid western american town, Tornado Springs, along with the Storm Chaser, our family spinning coaster! We are pleased you were able to benefit from a second day in the Park free due to booking an Official Paultons Break. Our Short Break programme is operated by a booking agency called Holiday Extras who work with the majority of other similar attractions to Paultons in the UK. We thank you again for taking the time and trouble to review Paultons and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Park again soon. Kind regards Paultons Park

If your coming in November and not interested in pepa pig world. Don't bother coming. They close half the park and put it in the small print where you have to press a little plus button to actually see it. The main page states SOME RIDES closed! It should state half the park closed. As it's a massive disappointment to older kids.

Dear BrianB843 We are saddened to read your 1 star rating of Paultons. The reason we close some of our rides during our off-peak season is so that we can undertake essential maintenance and refurbishment. Paultons has a longer opening season than any other theme park in the country and is now only fully closed for 6 weeks a year. As we are sure you can understand, we are regrettably now unable to carry out all of the necessary work on over 70 rides and attractions in such a short closed period and therefore do have to close certain areas in order to carry this out during our off-peak times. All tickets purchased for weekend dates in November are at a significantly reduced rate due to the change in the Park’s operation and offering during our off-peak period. Information in relation to our offering on weekend dates in November can be found in numerous places on the website such as the booking stages, the online terms and conditions agreed to at the time of purchase, our opening times calendar and ride availability page, together with a dedicated page on November Weekends. We can only apologise if these notices were missed. We value all feedback received and thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Kind Regards Paultons Park

Brilliant fun for the kids. So much more than just Peppa Pig world there are decent rollercoasters and bigger rides too. Suitable for children from 2 to 12 ish probably. Can get busy though but no more than any other theme park.

A lovely day out for 3.5yr old. We were there for 6 hours and didn’t run out of things to do. The queue times if any were minimal. The site is well kept and considered.
