Romsey Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (RAODS) owns and operates The Plaza Theatre. Located between Southampton, Salisbury and Winchester, the Plaza Theatre is perfectly situated to serve the southern Test Valley's entertainment and arts needs. An art deco venue with bucketfuls of character, the Plaza offers Pantomime, Musicals, Operetta, Drama, Dance, Youth productions and Live Music. Opening hours shown below are for show days only.

A delightful little theatre that had been really well maintained. Friendly and helpful front of the house, reception and bar staff. A pleasure to visit here and see a performance.

Reception staff very helpful on arrival and informed us of where to go etc - seats very comfortable and the price of the show was very good - bar staff very quick

We are so lucky to have this venue in Romsey. We have attended many performances over the years and never been disappointed.
Our granddaughter attended her first pantomime this year and absolutely loved it, especially the 'mens dressed as ladies' !!.
Hopefully the theatre will be here for many years to come.

A visit to the Plaza is always enjoyable, but I feel it is under used. I enjoy films as well as theatre. How about showing films as they did during lockdown. I'm sure this would be popular and increase their income.

A very good selection of small plays in the Green Room.
Jane Russell was FANTASTIC in 'Unsuspecting Susan'.
She deserves an Oscar for that performance!

Cinderella was a great family Panto full of traditional fun and silliness. We took our granddaughters aged 6 and 4 and we all thoroughly enjoyed it though some of the slightly naughty adult humour passed them by but tickled us.
