Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A really pretty place to visit- so peaceful and calm. We spent about an hour and half wandering round, walking over the little bridges to explore the mini islands. They’re a nursery, farm shop and cafe a short drive away. My only complaint would be that it’s quite a lot of money for such a small place. That said we really enjoyed our visit.

If the sun had been out this would have uplifted the whole experience. Saying that, this is quite a delightful place with plenty of seating and nice path to follow. Small for sure, meaning that maybe the price is just a little high. You will be pressed to find some interest to make your visit longer that an hour. That water areas are quite nice. The Bug Hotel did not seem to have any bugs staying at this time.

All much of a muchness, not much variation in planting, actually quite a small place, no wow factor at all. Consequently, I would say it was over priced. Perhaps were had been spoilt by having just come from a local sculpture park with fabulous grounds, vast array of sculptures and a wide variety of planting.

Have tried to contact Fishing Manager via phone as well as contacting Leckford Estate via email. But they never got back to me - not very good customer service. Even if the auto reply said they will get back in 3 days.

Went to visit, it was beautiful, very peaceful, took a picnic and we sat down by the water.
It's 10£ but it's worth it. There are many lovely flowers to see on the way.
There is a farm shop and cafe 5 minutes drive away which is also nice to visit

What a surprise! Didn't know what to expect but it was wonderful to come through the gate and see all the reflections on the pond right in front of you. Beautifully planted throughout and very special to see all the autumnal colours shining through, on the last week of the season. Loved that John Speden Lewis could work from his 'Summer House' with just a phone line installed and PA - controlling his empire!

Stumbled upon this gem after a visit to Leckford Estate garden centre. Absolutely worth a visit lots of little paths and waterways to perambulate. So peaceful, and well kept with so much colour. Take a book and sit awhile.

Been twice now. Enjoyed a picnic there. A peaceful spot. Good for reflection; the photographic type and the medicative.

Visited the Leckford estate (John Lewis partnership) cafe and garden centre many times but never the water gardens.
£10 each, easy parking and beautiful tranquil garden. Takes about a leisurely hour to walk around the well kept planting areas, woodland with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the view.
Don't expect a NT experience with every plant labelled, some magnificent trees too.
Check out my photos, well worth a visit.

My first “wow” was within 5 seconds of entering this beautiful water garden. I would rather spend £10 visiting this garden than more on a larger more commercial one. It’s impossible not to feel the peace and tranquility of the different lake and pond areas. Lovely friendly welcome at the entrance as well. I assume that there is a maximum number of people let in each session and this certainly helps. There are toilets but no refreshments but these are available a short distance away at the farm shop / cafe.
