We are one of the UK's leading museums for British military aviation history.

Boasting 40 fixed wing and rotary aircraft on site, we have fascinating exhibits and a wonderful 'Apache Cafe' looking out over the busy Middle Wallop Army Air Corps airfield.

Visited this museum mid February absolutely fantastic, as I am very interested in aircraft the whole museum was very informative. This is well worth a vest, cheap admission, excellent food from the cafe, with very friendly and informative staff. Just enjoy your visit you will not be disappointed.

Had a guided tour and found the history very interesting and entertaining. Not a big collection but some unique items. The information is all there but you would have to read it all to pick out the golden nuggets that our host narrated with a passion and humour. Did not try the cafe but the coffee and sandwiches were good.

Great place to look at the Army,s contribution to aviation. The displays on the day were very good showing how the helicopters manoeuvre. We spent a few hours walking round, visited the cafe and finally visited the gift shop to buy some gifts for the grand children, back in Australia.

Visited this museum on a very cold January 2017 day. One of the hangers had no space heating, which we were warned about upon purchasing our entry tickets. We were given a free hot drink voucher each because of this. There are many planes and helicopters, but also lorries, landing craft, cars, motorcycles and bicycles. Children can be given a... More

This is on our doorstep and we use this venue for business meetings, casual breakfasts or lunches and also to wander the museum. The Christmas Carol concert is a must go to - its when Christmas starts for us. Recently we had a quick breakfast but understand the Apache Cafe is about to launch new menus with new staff in... Well as a large family we were welcomed and had a brilliant day. So much to see and unlike other museums you can get up close and personal. A good cafe if you need a pit stop. Great value, pay once and you get an annual pass. Loved it all.

The museum is good with lots to see and do and like others have said, especially if you like aviation history. It's a year's pass on entry so good value for money and the staff at the reception are very welcoming. Unfortunately the Apache cafe is not up to scratch. We waited 20 mins for two jacket potatoes and were... More

There has been a lot of change in personnel at the cafe, which is in a wonderful location, with the best views in...middle wallop. Great for kids and families. I visited there last week, after avoiding it for a while, and it has improved. Th menu has been appropriately reduced for xmas, which will aid service and speed, and the... More
