There is a viewing platform for deer. Picturesque forest and national park for the family. Very picturesque and ponies wonder around. It was very busy Easter Weekend but still and enjoyable day out, getting back to nature.

Large car park with voluntary charge, and toilets. Several walks, including a short stroll to the deer platform. Very easy to see the herd, some were quite close

A very picturesque location with a great 'look out' platform for seeing deer. Ideal for those picnic days away in the New Forest. The Gruffalo Trail is a great addition for the kids.

Lovely afternoon walking through the woods, the kids loved it all the open space. The platform for seeing the deer was good and easy accessible. Such a beautiful spot well worth a visit.

We use the one mile loop fairly regularly. There are often holiday activities for children such as the gruffalo trail which keeps them interested when they tire of the deer or building bivowaks. There is easy parking, a picnic area and even stands to bring...More
