We have been numerous times when camping. The nature trails, the miniature railway, the playgrounds, are brilliant for children and the young at heart. Lovely cycling too. We keep coming back and will continue to do so!

We've been a few times now and will return again and again. There are play areas with climbing equipment, zip wire and swings to suit all ages. A fantastic walk though the woods with large wooden structures to explore and a great walk. Most people walk in the same direction and if it's too crowded at one area you just... More

Recently took our dog to Moors Valley and had a picnic it was a beautiful day and there was lots to do in the park. The walk was really lovely, and our dog definitely enjoyed it, lots of seating available for the picnic (however it wasn't overly busy). However we seriously couldn't find a bin anywhere to put our rubbish... More

Many thanks for taking the time to give us feedback. We do not offer bins due to the sheer size of the Park and Forest. With all our endeavours to empty - the rodents, vermin, insects and wildlife would get there first. We display information in our two play parks, toilets, website and leaflets explaining that we ask visitors to... More

A great place to visit and enjoy the forest with plenty of areas to visit or just relax and have a BBQ. There is the stickman walk or other attractions which have fees, car parking all day cost us £9 for a vehicle regardless of number of people. With children there is a train ride very good and bikes to... More

Family day out in the new forest and thoroughly enjoyable! I've been here many times over the last few years and today didn't disappoint either, the weather was lovely and so was the outdoors. It has so much to offer from children's play areas, lakes, nature trails and a steam train. Only having to pay for parking is a real... More

Visited for the third time this July with kids aged 6&4. It's a great value day out with the playgrounds and the forest walks which also have play structures dotted throughout. The kids love it. Ate at the restaurant and the food was freshly cooked and really nice. We went on the little steam train which is quite fun. Toilets... More

Go regularly with our five grandchildren who love the play trail. Even when very busy there is enough space for everyone. Parking is not cheap but as its free to enter it is still a cheap morning or afternoon out. Kids would love to do junior GO Ape but in our view that is expensive

lovely walks including a Play Trail with lots of obstacles for children to play on. Worth a day out, even if the parking is more expensive than other Forestry Commission sites.
