In the heart of the glorious New Forest, Beaulieu is one of the South's top visitor attractions. Here you will find the National Motor Museum, home to over 250 vehicles telling the history of motoring. You can also visit Palace House and Gardens, home of the Montagu family since 1538, the remains of Beaulieu Abbey and World of Top Gear where you can see some of the vehicles from Jeremey, James and Richard's most ambitious challenges. Ride on the high level Monorail or climb aboard the replica 1912 open top London bus for a fun way to see Beaulieu's sights.

My favorite part of this visit was getting to see multiple vehicles that set land speed records. This included the 1920 Sunbeam 350hp Blue Bird, the 1929 Golden Arrow, and the 1961 Bluebird. Amazing vehicles and history.

A visit to Beaulie is a must do if you're into cars and motorcycles. They have some stunning vehicles that are immaculately cared for, not to mention relics from the real Top Gear shows. Well worthwhile.

At first I thought that the £24 entry fee was a little expensive, but if you use the 'gift aid' option, it means that the ticket is valid for a whole year. There are loads of things to do here - firstly, the motor museum...More

We spent nearly a full day there and found both the history of Beaulieu/the Montgue family and the Motor Museum to be interesting and informative.
