Warmly welcome, perfect lambshank. The mint and rosemary gravy was out of this world, the most perfect since 2014.

A toss up between Mac Donald's and what appeared to be a lovely little pub. I went for the Sunday road - Pork was tuff, stuffing was tasteless. The food was spread over the plate to look like more than there was. I was still...More

We visited this pub with our children, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The playground is great for the children to run off steam whilst they're waiting. There was lots of choice on the menu, however the food was very bland. None of us...More

We've been in a couple of times and found the food excellent, with a good range of choices, very reasonable, and even more so if you choose from the admittedly fairly limited OAP menu. Service was quick and friendly. However, the fly in the ointment...More

Found this pub while visiting family in Harpenden. Great meals on offer at great prices. It's one of those corner pubs that you find so many of these days, but the service, atmosphere and food in this one were supurb. Would definitely return.

We came here based on reviews from TripAdvisor... what a let down. I don't think one of our party of 8 enjoyed their meal - the roast beef was so tough and chewy it had to be left, the pork was dry and hard and...More

I have visited occasionally when on my own for quick lunch. It has had a pleasing ambientce when I have been there and typical 'pub fare' on the menu at reasonable prices.
