Couldn't have been better, great displays, plenty to look at but not too big or busy, really fun temporary exhibition on Dodos too so will be good to return to see what's next. Staff we great, really helpful, courteous and knowledgable. Nice places for lunch nearby too. We'll be back & couldn't recommend enough

I hadn't been to this museum for a long time and I had almost forgotten how interesting it was and how it could keep a couple of young schoolchildren with me equally interested.

Really enjoyed ourselves:- never been before but a proper hidden gem. Both children found it fascinating... staff we spoke to were very helpful! Free to get in, no hard sell & gift shop (for a change) easily avoidable😄

I have lived in Tring for many years and take all my visitors to it. Age doesn't matter as it is suitable for young children to old grandparents.

We have been visiting as a family for 30 years now and must have been dozens of times. The collection is the same-but does not tire as the way it is shown has been modernised over the years. Great for teens and little ones, and set in a lovely town. Well worth a couple of hours to visit

Despite living only 10 miles away, it's taken until reaching 41 for me to visit - and what a mistake that was - I should have come here far far sooner and I'll be quizzing my parents as to why I wasn't bought as a kid! Fascinating collection - an astoundingly huge amount of creatures spread over 6 galleries. Once... More

Fantastic and informative museum and a great day out. But they have only paid lip service to disabled visitors. The car park has ONE disabled spot out of over 40 parking places. Then the disabled entrance is around the other side of the building? Please give some thought for those of us who need extra help!

Visited the museum at the weekend with my 4 year old son. It was the first time he had visited the museum and he loved it. The exhibition is really good and just the right size for a 4 year old. He is a big fan of Night at the Museum he was waiting for the exhibits to come alive!

Great for adults and children alike. Took my young grandson. He is not old enough to understand all of the exhibits but he was so excited to see the animals and bugs. We will continue to visit for years to come. No charge but donations welcome. Be warned does not open until 2pm on a Sunday. Free parking on site... More

I have been here a few time and each time we have had the best time. My kids love running from floor to floor exploring. We always seem to spend so much more time than we think because there is so much to take in.
