If you walk from Luccombe to Bonchurch. You come across the Devils Chimney and the Wishing Seat. You come out out at Bonchurch. Then walk to Ventnor. Rewarding and energising walk.

I think this is the walk we did, although somehow we managed to miss every tea-room along the way. We probably took a few wrong turnings due to inexperience - can you believe we didn't even have a rucksack... just a shopping bag! - but...More

Walked from the Winter Gardens along the Coastal footpath to the Smugglers Haven Cafe. First part is flat and easy second part across the landslip area is narrow and more strenuous, would imagine very tricky and slippery if wet, but we went on a lovely...More

Came across this quite by chance driving from Ventnor back to Newport. It was a bit like finding a tropical rain forest with a number of unusual and interesting features. Allow a couple of hours and try out as many of the routes as possible...More

Interesting walk, albeit steep steps and a bit slippery in parts Good views and plants, butterflies Café on the way back, but was closed early

Discovered this gem by chance on our way to Shanklin! Come prepared with walking boots, a sturdy grip and plenty of daylight hours as the paths aren't always marked and there are misleading trails created by previous (lost?) visitors... Really is breath taking to behold...More

A great place for a walk, especially on a hot day as there's lots of shelter from the trees. A good pair of walking shoes is recommended/

Brilliant to walk your dog, all the way through they have random wooden features like butterflies, toad stools, snakes a random wooden man on a bench! Then when you get to the top an awesome view
