Natural beauty, one of the uk’s 7 natural wonders.
Had a nice time looking over the needles at sunset on a warm Sunday evening. The only downside was the steps being broken so we couldn’t walk down the the beach. Next time we visit, hopefully the steps will be fixed.

    Great day out
Amazing iconic site, great staff (Lynne in the sand shop incredible), good price for the everything, crazy golf was good, yeah the steps are broken but it’s built on cliffs so I would expect problems and reviews have already highlighted. I would call ahead. If you don’t want to pay the car park then get the bus or a boat. Overall great day out.

    Full day needed!
Recently visited and spent a fair bit of time here but if you are in a group of all ages and with kids, you defo need to spend a full day here. We had a walk round the shops, had a drink and an ice cream and played on some of the games including the golf. The time flew by and we wanted to do other things while on the island so we had to rush off. Shame as we didn’t get to go down to the beach but the next time we come, we will definitely spend more time here and do everything that you can. It definitely caters for people of all ages and the Only down side is I thought the games etc was a tad expensive. Saying that, it’s great that you can use your unused tokens on food and drink too which enabled us to use up our leftovers.

    Excellent
Lovely place 6 pounds to park but lots to see. We walked down to the beach and went on boat trip which was lovely relaxing and interesting great views. My dad then came back up on the chair lift I walked as we had our dog. But I did the round trip on the chairlift after which was lovely. Nice shops here liked the sand shop. Cafe was ok not the best.

    Spectacular scenery
To get to the main viewpoint there is a bus service or a good 45 minute walk up the hillside. If you are a wheelchair user there is a number on a sign by the car park you can ring to allow you to drive up in between the bus service up the single track road. Spectacular views on the walkways around the former gun emplacements. Well worth a visit ti see the classic views.

    A must visit
Second visit as a family of four with two young children and we really love it. Everything is so clean, the staff (shoutout to Liam working on the rides - really helpful and engaging!) are friendly and there’s plenty of things to keep young children entertained. Views are insane from the chairlift, boat trip and open top bus. A must visit if you’re on the island!

    Helpful guys on the chairlift.
Always visit the chairlift when we visit IOW. My dad is bound to a scooter, he's unable to enjoy most things nowadays, but the guys that seat people, both gave my dad a hand out of his scooter, stopped the chairlift, and sat him in the chair. They were friendly and full of life. Made my dads trip to the Needles enjoyable. Cheers guys.

    Fantastic
What a beautiful place! We were lucky enough to go when the weather was beautiful over the bank holiday weekend. As expected it was busy there but surprisingly no rela queues. We got in the chairlift to and from the beach which was stunning, the water was so blue. My daughter and I went on a speed board tour around the needles which was £15pp it was nice and something different to do. The beach and the cliff faces were lovely. We got the chairlift back to the mainland and there were shops and some rides for the kids and an amusement park which kept my daughter occupied. All in all a lovely little gem

    Hope you like queuing.
Made the mistake of going here in half term. Chaos parking and expensive for a field. Absolutely rammed so left very quickly and went to Yarmouth which was a haven of peace and tranquility. This place is good for kids but not a place for pensioners like us.

    Enjoy this fascinating nature
Fascinating view in a very lovely day… so much people when we arrived. Therefore instead of experiencing the chairlift to go down became not an option. However to go down the seaside it’s not really bad, the stairs not so stiff and it has handrail. But if visitors has mobility issue it might be a problem so better wait for the chairlift. The boat ride is fast queue and trip is also fast. The only thing is we sat on the left side and we thought we were given a chance to see the needle on our side. So most of pics taken was hard. Coming up from seaside , we used the chairlift but we waited half an hour but it’s exciting. It will stop at the middle of trip for a chance to view this God created gift. There is a camera taking a shot but according to the management when we want to buy the photo they said because of too much sun light pic we’re not advised to be purchased as it’s blurred. Nevertheless it was a beautiful visit… there are also food and drink you can buy.

I visited the Needles 20 year's ago, my partner hadn't been before so we went on the chair lift which takes you down or up from the beach. The views are gorgeous. The colours in the cliff's are beautiful. The Needles themselves are so impressive. There are boat trip's which go out and around The Needles, weather permitting. There are childrens fairground rides. Good eating places, glass blowing demonstrations to visit. All told The Needles is a lovely tourist spot to visit.

An interesting but hardly exciting chalk formation jutting out of the sea, with a lighthouse on its end. Far more beautiful are the multicolored sand cliffs on the Pebble Beach nearby. They are truly stunning, best admired from the pier, where boats depart to get a closer look at the Needles. My grandson loved the 30 minute ride on the speedboat Summer Rose, felt safe, life jackets are a must. There is a chairlift repurposed from a ski resort bringing tourists down to the beach during two minute ride, or walkways and stairs down the cliff side can be used. The rides up in the amusement park section looked past their prime, and luckily were closed at the time we arrived, but the Sand Shop, where glass containers can be filled up with layers of colored sand was still open so my granddaughter could create her kitty cat souvenir. We did not stop to eat here.

Amazing views from the chairlift. See for miles. The boat trip was great to get up and personal with the lighthouse.

The drive from Ventnor to the Needles is spectacular, beautiful Cliffs and beaches. The Needles are quite underwhelming in comparison and the area around it a tacky tourist trap that ruins the natural beauty. The only place we have visited that we really didn't like.

The Needles are a natural feature and should be open to all. But you can’t park or view this without paying. We are an old couple without disabled stickers and so were prevented from seeing this.

The Needles was a bucket list visit for one of our group and boy was she far from disappointed! The views here are beyond stunning! I felt the chair lift was slightly overpriced but that’s to be expected for such a popular tourist attraction and I was still happy to pay the price. You can choose from several boat trips to go right out and see the Needles up close which I highly recommend! We did one of the 20 minute ones and whilst I originally thought £8 each was a bit pricey, it was well worth the money and I would definitely pay it again! The gift shops, golf and rides etc are reasonably priced in my option (especially compared to other places like this) and the tea room food was delicious. £6 for all day parking and there’s much more to do here than I expected. All in all would definitely return and recommend!🌊

Visited this attraction when spending a few days on the Island. As other reviewers have pointed out the £6 parking fee is a bit steep and many of the fairground type attractions at the site are best suited to the under 5’s.
However the chairlift is fun and offers distant views of the needles during the descent. We were disappointed that the boats were not running the day we were there, due to weather conditions, but overall we were glad we had visited.
