Lovely farm and day out. Just bring own food!
So much to do!! Had a great day, both adults and child! Unfortunately couldn't feed or pet the animals which was a shame. Also the only place to eat a meal but EXTREMELY expensive (£18 for a burger and chips). I know they're separate though so not Tapnell's fault. But we loved the basket ball, the peddle go karts, the football, the mini golf - all included in the entry price. Would definitely recommend as a good day out for the family.

Must-do day out if have young children!
Great day out!!!! We could have gone back a second day and our little one would not have got bored. There's a large indoor soft play, sand pit, activity area made up of hay bales, as well as an outdoor park and all the animals! There is a great restaurant next door, The Cow, too.

    A lovely day out
Amazing day out, good for bad weather as it was heavily raining when we visited. The children had lots of fun playing inside and the cafe was nice. When we had a break in the rain we had a lovely walk round to meet the wallabies.

Fun day out for children and adults
We wasn't sure what to expect as a group of mainly adults with a young child as well but we were pleased that there was plenty to do for both adults and children. The activities weren't just for children, adults could enjoy them just as much and some things such as the basketball, football and crazy golf were better suited to adults and older children. The farm part is quite small and the animal encounters were a little disappointing as they weren't very long and there wasn't much to them. The cafe was reasonable and the cakes were nice. Looking online doesn't really give the full idea of what there is to do there. We were unsure whether the adults would find enough to do but in the end it was worth the money for all of us.

Perfect day out we stayed entertained for 6 hours!
Perfect rainy day activity with 6&8 year old. Loved the cafe over looking the large soft play area. Interesting wide range of snacks and drinks. Huge indoor barn with hay bale structures to climb on, slides, tunnels, trampolines. Indoor animal enclosures, face painting, shop craft area. Great football shooting area outside. Pedal go kart ing round a track. When the sun came out the outdoor play area was fantastic! 100% recommend and will return!

Great family day out in all weathers!
This was our first visit and we had lots of fun. Although it was August, it was quite cold and windy so we spent more time inside. The falconry show was great and my kids loved the go karts and hay bales. We also all enjoyed the live singing in the barn. The lady had a beautiful voice and it really added a relaxed feel to the afternoon! My daughter has already told me we need to come back to the Isle of Wight for our holiday next year so we can go back to Tapnell Farm!

    Brilliant day out
Fantastic day out for kids of all ages. We took our 3 year old and 1 year old and they loved it. Not many animals to see and we were very disappointed to see the donkeys being walked but not brought over to say hello - they were walked as far away from the guests as possible which I thought was weird. Never the mess, there was so much to do and we all had a lot of fun. We spent the entire day and could probably go back to do even more.

    Fun bubble party
We visited Tapnell last Thursday evening for their Kids Biggest Party event and it was so much fun!! My girls loved it and so did the adults. They had a disco, party games, a magician (Stevo) and a bubble wizard 🧙‍♀️!! At the end of the night it was like a bubble foam party with the bubble wizzard working his magic on the dance floor. You could also buy adult drinks and pizza! There was plenty of seating. The host of the evening was fab and everyone was so friendly and said goodbye at the end of the evening. It was fantastic - thank you!

    Aqua park and footgolf fun
We attended the aqua park for our teens to have some fun. They had a great time running around the inflatable challenging themselves. Highly recommend but ensure you are physically fit as it’s not an easy task pulling yourself from the water everytime you fall overboard. We also played the footgolf which was great fun and challenging, a great course with the choice of 9 or 18 holes. Definitely recommend these two activities for teenagers in Isle of Wight.

    Brilliant
Absolutely fantastic. We are a family of 4, we have a girl aged 7 and boy aged 5 and we set off at 10 and we didn’t leave till 4. They were both totally entertained and when they are entertained then us as parents have a better day too. Lots to see and do. Farm animals, bouncing pillows, golf, trampolines, football, soft play, sand etc. It was that good if there had been the option to return within 7days we would have. Excellent value for money. Clean, tidy and the staff were friendly. The animals look really well cared for too. Thankyou so much for making parenting a total breeze that day… they weren’t bickering which makes a change.

We had a lot of fun axe throwing with our family of 12 adults celebrating a big birthday! Our instructor was a great and a lot of fun. The facilities are really good. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Fantastic day out with the family, we had fun and laughter all day and the kids smiled all day. It’s a bit of a drive from Nodes Point but Kev on their reception was absolutely right saying this a brilliant day out. We’re hoping to come back to the island in the summer and will definitely return here.

A great location on the Isle of Wight. The children loved to air cushions and the play area. The Farm bits were a not as good as other places on the mainland we have visited. We would return again.

Despite living on the mainland we have visited Tapnell Farm on a number of occasions whilst visiting friends who live locally. I don't think we have ever visited the IOW when there has been good weather but there is always plenty to keep the kids entertained at Tapnell! The football shootout and bouncy pillow are particular favourites for our 7 Yr old. It did seem alot busier even for school holidays but perhaps this is down to Robin Hill having closed.
On this occasion I had planned to upgrade our tickets to a season pass but found that this was no longer an option which was a bit of a shame but I'm sure we will be back at some stage.

We really enjoyed the day...especially being able to feed wallabies with their little joeys...magical experience. Also loved the pig training. Lovely meal at The Cow and lovely coffee and cake. There did seem a lack of staff around the park but loads on entrance. We would recommend

To be fair it looks nice and is a lovely visual location but it’s very expensive for what is nothing more than some play grounds and a few animals I paid £62 for 3 adults and a child and there was very few things for adults unless you liked copious amounts of coffee.

Many of the attraction such as the wallabies and meerkats are locked down and only open twice a day so you have to be present early
On and late in the day so we didn’t get a chance to experience standing near the wallabies

Only visit the Cow steak house if you have deep pockets as the steaks are ribeye and T bone are £30 and £45 respectively due to the low food mileage of the steak this means it’s total profit for the restaurant very expensive for what was a standard steak to be fair can’t express how quick the staff were though good fast service as it should be, the food was good but not £30 quid good, I’d have expected at least a T Bone from a good restaurant at that price where I live.

If your on a budget as many are today I’d avoid as the prices for entry are wildly out of proportion for what’s on at the farm

A great playground. Farm park not so much. Few goats, guinea pigs and rabbits etc. Wallabies and meerkats nowhere to be seen. Loads to play on, trampolines, bouncy pillows, slides, go karts etc. Makes it a pretty expensive day out to just play for a couple of hours. Cafe very disappointing. Could only get sandwiches or sausages rolls, crisps, really poor offering.

I took my 11 year old son while we were on holiday. We went for the pumpkin festival which was free but my son really wanted to go into the farm. Knowing he’s too old for farms now I had my reservations especially as it was around £30 for the 2 of us but it was brilliant and worth every penny. There is so much to do and all included in the price, even for older kids. He spent most of his time bouncing on a huge inflatable. We ran out of time in the end and didn’t do it all. He wants to come back next time we’re here

Tapnell farm use to be a firm favourite of ours whenever we visited the IOW. Unfortunately we will be giving this place a miss next time. The whole place just feels tired. The soft play is filthy and unmanned. Hoards of obnoxious children were overrunning the toddler area without a parent or staff member in sight. The golf had run out of balls forcing people to try and retrieve them from people before they putted them at the last hole. The word farm is a joke, the only wildlife to be seen were the seagulls and the unruly children/preteens! The sledge ride use to have 4 karts with strings attached to were them back, sadly only 3 were to be found and the poor parents were all having to haul them back up the track. It feels as though Tapnell Farm have a captive audience and are very much resting on their disappointing laurels. Try harder Tapnell Farm!

Been before in 2022 and it was around £60 for 2 adults and 4 kids and we had the whole day. Went this year and came along for 3:00pm got charge £80 for one less child for 90mins the team let the kids run riot so go karts we’re not controlled just wish they had given a 1/2 price option for after 2:30 like most do really disappointed with the closure of robin hill making it this expense means less people
