Visited Deal for first time with 3 sister's,all on the mature side. The beech is spotless, We enjoyed lovely walks along the seafront, we were lucky enough to see a seal! My one thought was that the deal sea area isn't covered by a lifeguard?...More

Watching rowers race on the sea is a delightful way to pass time at the beach. And in July 2018 with lovely sunny weather it made a fantastic spectacle. Look out for it next year. Well done to Deal Boat club for organising it so...More

Nice beach, nice people around. Lovely place to have a relaxing weekend on the beach. Give it a try and you will not regret it. Enough pubs and shops are around to kill some time of the weather is cloudy or you just don't feel...More

Really lovely place to go for a long walk with plenty to see and lots of pubs and fish and chips to eat as you go!

A nice quiet beach but not family or swimmer friendly due to the pebbles and steep inclines. This does make it quiet if you just want to sit on the wall and look out to sea.

Fortunately for Deal, pebbles rather than sand line this huge beach. Which means it's generally very quiet - even on bank holidays and in the height of the season. Fabulous views over to France, great swimming (be careful of the tides) and generally a lovely...More

We popped to Deal sea front with our 10 week old baby for a day out in the sun, the walk way along the back of the beach was a nice peaceful walk but we didn’t find the town itself all that baby friendly. We...More

Very attractive town and stony beach. The views and the quirky conservation area of Middle Street are a must see.

Deal beach slopes steeply to the sea and is pebbly. The water becomes deep quickly so it may not suit children. However there is a lovely large free paddling pool for children and a coffee shop. Also toilets nearby. The beach is clean and well...More

Deal beach is rugged, unspoiled, clean and not heaving, even in the height of summer. We just love it

Yes, dogs are permitted on the beach, as long as they're kept on a lead, and the owner clears up any mess.
