The beach is great for family fun but beware, the beach is... More

We had driven passed here a few times and looked around the townlet on our way to Rye etc and then on one sunny day we parked up and walked up and peered over the wall. Fantastic, hardly a soul in sight, what an amazing beach.

Once you get past the huge boulders, avoiding the poo on the steps, its not a bad beach. A bit soft underfoot in places, but nice and sandy

Very clean and beautiful sand. Large expanses when the tide is out but you need to time it right and check the tide times as it comes right up the beach. No wind on the Saturday due to exceptionally fine weather but brilliant kite flying weather on the Sunday! Lovely place for a walk although I should imagine it is... More

Lucky with the weather we had a spectacular few hours here. Disappointing toilets. Stunning sandy beach accessible in the town area as we have a disabled child

Exceptionally clean beach and wow the donkeys just made my day parking was easy today but I think in height of summer it could get difficult. Small funfair very clean and prices not bad. Shopkeepers are so friendly and very helpful

Sandy expanse with lovely water is great in summer and also lovely to walk dogs on in winter. A lovely place for beach games and sport/leisure activities. Can be quite windy as wind blows right across at times
