Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well-run beach fair and amusements. Staff were friendly and our 6 year old had a great time. He’s already asking when to go back.”

We visited Dymchurch Amusements as a group of eight adults, two pre-schoolers and two babies. This is definitely aimed at the pre-schools/young children age range however there are amusements on site and some rides require adults to accompany children who fall beneath the specified height measurement.

There is no entry fee and ride entry is via a token system. Tokens can be easily purchased on site (cash only!) and they have deals for more tokens bought (up to 40 tokens for £30). Rides are typically 2-3 tokens per rider.

It is a very small site however we had two buggies with us and navigating our way Aron d wasn’t a huge issue. There are benches to sit at whilst waiting for people to finish on rides.

The only draw-back is that I noticed that ride operators often smoked whilst rides were working. Having said that, at no point did I smell smoke and I was unaware of the kids being in direct contact with it. Something to be mindful of though.

My family and I went here for my daughter’s 8th birthday with her cousins.
It was perfect for their ages (10 and under) and very reasonable.
The queues were minimal and we all had a really great time!

We saw the owner there who was really friendly and took our picture for us.

We’d definitely recommend and can’t wait to return.

Absolutely love it there. Perfect for children under 12. We have taken my 2 granddaughters a few times now who are 3 and 6 and they love it. You buy tokens for the rides which can work out a little expensive but it's worth it. Plenty places to park too. Would highly recommend

Great place for families, a small park but a nice collection of well-maintained rides, friendly staff, and very reasonably priced these days. Would visit again.

Fun afternoon out, plenty for all to do, it’s mainly tokens for the rides, reasonably priced, food outlets, my only gripe is the toilets, not clean at all

The amusements are a nice place to visit if in Dymchurch, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone go out of their way to go to them.
There are a few rides there, but they are all really aimed at very young children.
Some staff are VERY young, but still attentive and happy to help where they can.

Been here before and just right for my grandson (aged 4). Not so good this time - the staff (mostly teenagers/early 20's it seemed) looked bored, didn't smile at all and generally looked as though they would rather be somewhere else! I had a problem with the safety bar on one of the rides; the member of staff's response was to shrug his shoulders and disappear inside the operators hut and have a drink!
