We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really nice land lord and land lady. Who like their beer and look after their pumps. Quite simply the finest pint of Hurlimann for miles around. And I've sampled enough to know... Just out of the town centre or may be. But my word it's worth the walk.

There's a pool room on a lower tear. And it also has a really nice garden. A proper sun trap in summer.

But this place is all about the quality of the alcoholic beverages. Which are magnificent. And served by lovely people.

Friendliest pub in Faversham. Not an eating house like the rest but a proper pub. Great landlady and customer.

Went in one Saturday afternoon - the only pub empty on our circular pub crawl round Faversham. So ok, why the poor score: the toilets were disgusting! Not because they were old but dirt, dust etc dirty tissues in open bin. Dirt dust around sanitary bin plus horrible smells. Sorry this could easily have been cleaned up! Even if you have old decor no excuse for filth. The landlady did chat which was a plus. Place needs a revamp!!

Sheps first ever pub and where Nelson paid off his crew after the battle of the Nile. Good beer and a fair atmosphere

A nice friendly pub with open fire to warm you up in the cold months. Friendly staff and a nice selection of beers, wines and spirits. Would recommend.
