It is well designed and positioned looking out to see from a place near to where he would have stood to watch the practice bombs being dropped. It is easily accessible with free on-road parking and situated right at the end of... More

Not sure how you review a statue. A great man who made HB part of his history with the testing of the bouncing bomb.

Just a statue of Barns Wallis, but it was at Reculver (just a short distance away) that the famous rolling bombs were tested in WW2.

A great statue that highlights the achievement of the great man. Read the plaque, bask in his glory and remember the enormous sacrifice all those made for us.

It's nice to have this statue, to know the story that goes with it, we should remember what he did and watch the film about the bouncing bomb

This Statue stands on our lovely downs, and if you take a walk along our promenade towards our Downs you will see him standing looking towards our seas.
