Absolutely love this place, have been there on several occasions with friends and with family, it's such a nice friendly atmosphere, and staff are so lovely and very welcoming! Great selection of Ales and ciders to die for. Looking forward to our next visit

Went in for a 'race day'. Genuinely good fun, fantastic food and a really lovely, friendly atmosphere. They were raising money for charity, not themselves, and everyone seemed to be really enjoying the day. It was really good to see people having so much fun....More

A hidden gem situated just minutes away from Herne Bay seafront. If you like tasting real ales in a friendly atmosphere then this is the place for you.

Still a great place to sup ale with an ever changing variety of freshly tapped ales for all tastes. Landlord hasn't changed. A must visit for all genuine ale lovers.

Was in Herne Bay with some time to kill and accidentally found the Firkin Frog. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beer and the knowledge of local beers that the bar owner was able to talk me through. I look forward to a return...More

Great choice of ales, and even a cider or two thrown in. Lovely to try some new beers and not have to rely on the same old same old. Steve (landlord) is very knowledgeable and always willing to recommend a choice to suit your tastes....More

Lovely quirky venue within a 5 minute walk of the Seafront. Well worth a visit if you're in Herne Bay.
