Stroll through this old Victorian pleasure garden and marvel at the range of habitats. The lake is a shady oasis and the valley swoops down to the Brockhill stream, teeming with life. The park offers fantastic views to the English Channel.

Stopped off on way home from holiday. Nice enough walk, playpark ok but very small. The most disappointing thing was the cafe. Firstly make note it's a vegetarian cafe, which is fine but it's not made clear when you're looking at the menu and to...More

I love visiting here. Great walks around the lake and park land with my children and dog. Perfect for photos. Good play area for children. And just the best cafe, amazing choice for food especially for vegetarians and reasonably priced too. Friendly staff.

A good country walk with highlights for children in the play area, jungle foliage, lake, wildlife and the mandatory ice cream after all exertion.

I've been coming to the park for many years. Used to fish the lake until they stopped it, not sure why that was. Now it's a business £2.50 to park at the weekend, even for an hour and if you are disabled. Cafe is expensive...More

Thank you for the comments. Unfortunately fishing was stopped back in 1999 due to poor health of the lake as a result of this majority of fish were removed. All income generated by the pay and display machines is directly reinvested back into the site...More

Hi! I think the parking is charged at a daily rate rather than hourly. Pretty sure it was £1.50 for a weekday. Hope this helps.
