Our 6th visit to this railway in 3 years. Enjoyable, relaxing, interesting, a lovely day out for all the family, young or old. If you have never spent a day on this delightful railway, then it is time you did. The original steam loco's date back to the 1930's & are a sight to behold, be you a railway buff... More

WOW!!! This was a real good day out and anyone who loves a bit of history or mechanic's will love this it is awesome. We spent most of the day on or around the trains and loved every minute of it and we would go back and do it all over again. The people who run this need a medal... More

Oh what a great place. We bought a rover ticket that meant you can get on and off, had food at one of the stations, and a brilliant time. Do,it!

I went here beginning of September and was nicely surprised. The journey was such great fun! the views were beautiful. When we got to Dungeness one thing crossed my mind, "I wish I had my camera" the surrounding seaside was like falling into a piece of artwork. The trains themselves were beautiful and wonderfully kept I felt like a little... More

Great for all ages! Booked two day rover tickets and had a fantastic time travelling from New Romney to the beguiling Dungeness and then onto Hythe, via Dymchurch. Impossible to describe properly......just great fun on a miniature steam railway. Staff, most of whom are volunteers at weekends, were excellent and welcoming - more than happy to show us around the... More

Its been over fifty years since I last visited here with Mum, Dad and Sis. The steam and diesel engines still going strong. Ideal for children and adults alike. Plenty of history to find here, especially during WW2.

We booked up for for the Supper Night Dining Train 24/09/16, caught the train in New Romney to Dungeness where had a lovely pre ordered 3 course meal. It was a nice change riding the train and seeing the landscape from another angle. On arrival at Dungeness we were greeted by a member of the restaurant staff who each and... More

If your child or family like trains then this is for you. The mini steam and diesel trains are so much fun. We took the train to dungeness and had a nice enough lunch in the station restaurant. I'm sure there are lovely walks but with young children we didn't go. The sea is a good walk from the station... More

Travelled from New Romney to Hythe on this lovely little train line. Can't fault it, great fun for young and old, just sit back and enjoy. Cafes at the stations also great.

It is several years since I last visited the RH&D so I decided to see what it was now like. All the staff I met were very polite and helpful. engines and coaches were all spotless. Stations are well kept with all the expected facilities. The journey is about an hour each way and I decided to try out the... More
