Imperial Bar Margate is a great venue that opened in 2016. The modern look bar also has amazing views of the Margate harbour with great drinks selections, making Imperial Bar Margate one of the best places in the old town to have a drink and enjoy our Turkish meze

Great party venue!
The Imperial held my daughter's surprise 21st birthday party on the 16th, so accommodating with our needs, the staff looked after us really well, nothing was too much! We all had a great night. Will definitely be holding future events there, thanks Sonya and all the staff

Incredible nightlife/meze venue! I cannot recommend this place enough! Great food, drinks, and music. Staff very polite and respectful with spectacular service. A dog-friendly venue with a lovely range of ice creams as well. Hands down the best bar in the area.

Lovely place on the sea
My husband stopped by on a wander along the sea while waiting to go into Dreamland - it has a very relaxed atmosphere and very welcoming - all the staff are really friend and we felt like we were being looked after. We had a couple of drinks and some chips and Turkish bread and wished we had more time. We will definitely stop by again if in the area - we would like to try some of the delicious looking foods we saw others eating.

This is a very strange place which is a kind of British/Turkish pub/eaterie, situated diagonally opposite The Turner Gallery on the front at Margate. We sat outside and watched the sunset, but if we’d wanted to sit inside, there were very few tables/chairs in a sort of chaotic jumble. Service was friendly and everything was pleasant, but it’s still a weirdly incongruous place.

Had my partners 30th birthday party here and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredible, making the planning of the event so easy and on the night, being so friendly and helpful. Perfect venue in terms of size, great DJ and door staff, buffet was lovely, and good selection of drinks at the bar. Honestly could not recommend this venue enough! Big shout out to Sonya, who was particularly helpful in the planning and on the night!

Great venue, food and service

Walking along Margate front on a beautiful summer evening. The menu looked good. The outside seating was full so we went inside. We were greeted and given menus and a table. Drinks came quickly and so did the food. Delicious.
Staff were chatty and attentive.
Venue was clean and music was good.
Meal and drinks were reasonable priced too.
Local venue used by locals we will be back.

Made to feel welcomed.

Popped in for lunch with the family and was instantly made to feel welcomed. The food was delicious, served with a smile and was nothing was too much trouble. Will be visiting again and would recommend to anyone who enjoys good food. Thank you guys!

We visit here regularly and recently had my husbands surprise 60th here. Fantastic!! From planning the surprise to the actual evening nothing was too much trouble. Amazing location and views, the food is so delicious and the service from the staff is outstanding. Always made to feel welcome and with a smile. Highly recommend to anyone

Great Bar

Great Bar in a superb location overlooking the seafront really nice manager helpful friendly & funny with a good selection of drinks we sat outside here on a couple of occasions during our week long stay 2 for one cocktails on a saturday night
