We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tidal beach with an interesting statue at the edge.
A brisk morning stroll,on a warmer winter's day,and this beach was included.
Not much of it available as the tide was in.

This small piece of sand is in front of the Lifeboat Station and Turner Gallery. It is not a swimming beach as heavy chalk and rock underwater and is only accessed at low tide, but a nice place to start a walk around to Cliftonville by the sands in Summer.

Quite, sandy beach just outside town by the Tate modern. It is a bit rocky so not the best for swimming. There is ramp down to beach

A small beach to the side of the Harbour Arm.
A mix of rock and sand, but comfy enough when the rest of The beaches are packed solid on a hot day!

This beach can only be accessed at low tide. There is a ramp down to the sandy beach. We visited late afternoon and it was calm and peaceful. A few dog walkers but not many people about. An enjoyable lovely walk at low tide. Lots of seaweed on the shore. Not really suitable for swimming. We went to see the Anthony Gormley statue on the Fulsam Rock. We have seen various Anthony Gormley works but the siting of this one is unusual. We visited the Turner gallery the following day, which overlooks the beach but the tide was in so nothing visible.

If it was not for the statu and the dog walkers there is not a lot of interest to see. There is parking along parts of the promanade here, cannot walk fully along as the derlict Lido is fenced off, great pity it has been let go.

We visited this beach in July 2018 to do a pre-wedding photoshoot. Even thugh it was late July and very warm, the beach was not that busy and there was a nice long strecth of sandy beach. I did not bring my swimming trunks but wished I had done so as the water looked lovely and inviting!

A lovely little beach accessible at low tide only. The Anthony Gormley statue has changed things a bit.

See a statue of the bronze man facing out to sea by Anthony Gormley. Where the Margate jetty was and original Margate lifeboat was launched.
