- Emma h2 contributionsGood experienceThe set up and idea is good and different to other mini golf. It's a bit small on terms of waiting between holes. We were a group of 4 and whilst waiting for each other to take their turn if the group behind us caught up there wasn't enough room to stand to wait. Other than that it was a good experience lots of props and thought had gone into each hole. It was very warm inside so that's something to consider. They also have baskets to be able to carry any shopping/coats etc around the course which was a good bonus.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 16 June 2024
- Looby C15 contributionsHole in one in the jungleWe visited Margate on the train did the usual beach visit and played in the arcades. Whilst in one of the arcades we saw they had a mini golf course and decided that would be a fun thing to do it cost us £26 for a family ticket (2 adults 2 children) and you have the choice of 2 courses we chose the upstairs course as the man selling the tickets said that, in his opinion, it was the most fun one. The course had a jungle type theme and there were plenty of hidden animals around the course with lots of lights and sounds. The course has 18 holes you can play and then a final 19th hole where you can win various amounts of tickets for the arcades depending on where your ball lands. My daughter had visited previously with her school and they did the downstairs course. She says it was also fun but it has less lights and sounds so if you prefer things a bit quieter then this is one for you.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 30 August 2024
- Paul635231 contributionsSurprisingly well maintained and good courseLooking at the outside of the building, thought it was going to be run down. After we were told a lot of rules in a fast pace and told we could only use the toilet until we handed back the golf clubs, we went upstairs to find an 18 hole course which was well thought out and landscaped. Sound effects and lighting. Not good for those with difficulty with mobility as there were stairs but no sign of a lift or assistance. Course was good and entertained us.Visited January 2025Travelled with familyWritten 19 January 2025

Holidaying in the area, we headed to Margate fir the day for some family seaside fun - building sandcastles, ice creams and crazy golf. Because the weather has been changeable, we chose Lost Island Adventure Golf because it’s an indoor course and it was great. As others had had the same idea, there was a queue and a 60-minute wait time, we booked our places, and clutching a buzzer so they could call us when it was our time, killed time in the Flamingo Arcade, playing the tuppenny machines and other games, availing ourselves of the sanitiser dispensers scattered around the arcade.
We were called on the hour, and handed clubs and balls, wiped down with sanitiser and headed downstairs for a great round of 18 holes.
The team spaced out the groups to help maintain Covid safety and there was a 6-shot limit to help keep the flow of groups around the course which was good fun with some particularly challenging holes and the Halloween decorations added to the atmosphere. We all had a good time and our girls were delighted to be handed a Halloween bag of sweets at the end.
For us, a holiday isn’t a holiday without a round of crazy golf so thank you to the team who were warm and friendly and ensured we had a great time.

An ideal place to conduct a fun activity. The golf course is located beneath the Flamingo arcade on Margate seafront. As it is a an indoor golf course it made a great place to stop off when the rain came. The pricing is excellent value for money and a fraction of the cost of what one would have to pay for a similar experience in London. Staff were helpful and the 18 hole course really is a Lost Island, one moment we were in Asia, the next Africa and then into South America. Really enjoyable and worth another visit.

This is without question the best mini golf course in kent, the theming is fantastic, with sound effects and great lighting included, rain or shine this is a must play in Margate. They were very well organised regarding group spacing during covid aswell which was good too see. Pricing is right on point, being £5 if you go before 12pm and £7 afterwards.

Visited on Tuesday during half term with a friend and our 4 children very disappointed to say the least. Wanted the 4 children to play and us to supervise but told adults have to play or can’t go in, fine but made life more difficult as trying to supervise the kids ( one with SEN) and play whilst the place was heaving was stressful and chaotic. Mid conversation the man serving us ran out the door and we were left waiting until another lady asked if we wanted to play explained we were mid way through being served and he left and she just stared at us, then proceeded to serve us and muddle everything up and seemed very flustered.
We were told an hour wait and a buzzer given to us would let us know when our turn was, when the buzzer eventually went off we were then told we needed to play as 2 groups of 3 otherwise it clogs up gameplay for people waiting. Now surely this should have been mentioned before paying as I wouldn’t have gone ahead of I’d have known.
As a result of this my son (with SEN) was very upset and distressed as he couldn’t play with all kids together and made it very difficult to get round.
We eventually ended the round of golf thank the lord, upon leaving bumped into my sister in law who was just going down to play their session (group of 4 adults 3 kids) and to put the cherry on top we’re not asked to play separately only waited half hour to play and given a free round of golf as gesture for having to wait half the time we had!
Now obviously this left me fuming to say the least I wrote a complaint to their Facebook messenger which had been seen same day and still yet to receive a reply!
Very bad customer service, staff are rude and genuinely seem like they don’t want customers.
Such a shame as it’s a really nicely done course but my god I would not let anyone I know go here!!!

Such a surprising little hidden gem!!! We had no idea there was a crazy golf place below the arcade and just took a chance as we had some spare time. So glad we did!!
The whole golf area is beautifully themed with statues, decoration and jungle sounds. It felt like a little tropical world!
We started off being the only ones there - which was great. The course is fairly simple but good fun.
I can see why the reviews vary. Towards the end of our go, many families had turned up and it completely changed the atmosphere- screaming children, climbing all over the place! People we’re getting quite aggravated as they were waiting their turn.
Best tip: go during quiet times!

Well laid out course, well maintained and well managed. We spent 45 minutes in fierce competition and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, even our hard to please 11 year old. Really good fun and a surprise find at the back of the Flamingo seafront arcade.

By actually letting people in on time when they book online not over 30 mins later, and if for some reason are running late a token should be given or some money refunded. Staff were also incompetent. Only one man in the whole arcade seemed to know what he was doing.

We went to Margate and the weather wasn’t brilliant and saw Adventure Golf. Located at the back of the amusement arcade, the man on the desk was very friendly and efficient, explaining everything and booking us in. 6 people (4 adults and two teenagers) was £36 (rather than £8 for adults and £6 for kids).
The course is 18 holes and accessible for all ages. (Party in front of us had 4-5 year olds). Adventure golf has putting greens of varying difficulties - angles, bumps, cures and pipes -but you can get hole in one! This is not crazy golf.
We had a great afternoon and the result was very close at the end! A nice touch is the wheeled baskets for carrying your belongings in.
Would recommend this if you are ever in Margaret!

Quite a straightforward course but was fun nonetheless for a rainy day. It was enjoyed by two 42 year olds and four children - two age 10, age 12 and age 13. Was quite busy but we didn’t have to wait for each hole and so play moved smoothly. Took just over an hour to play

I can't believe you've done this. We arrived at 19:15 for a relaxing but swift game of crazy golf.. but, at 19:35 we were told there was 20 minutes remaining (reasonable). Then not even 2 minutes later were told we had 5 minutes left, when we questioned this we were greeted with the response, "well it's five minutes now".
However we were given the whole time allowed and would definitely adventure golf there again.
