I love this house, i live in margate but visit it regularly with guests, friends and family. My grandchildren love it here and the history behind it. The children loved the dressing up and i especially like the upstairs with its nooks and crannys.

We enjoyed our visit, especially dressing into Tudor costumes and taking pictures. Lots of fun! We bought combined tickets for Margate museum and Tudor house. Volunteers do a very good job in both places, a big thank you from us!

One time a farmhouse that developed over time. Lots of Tudor features in the building, but not very much on display inside. On the edge of the newly fashonable old town and less than 200 yards from the Harbour. Free entry.

Wonderful authentic Tudor house, rescued from threatened demolition and beautifully restored. Run by volunteers, one of whom (Susan) gave us a fascinating and very knowledgable tour as we were there on a quiet morning. A must for Margate visitors

My son loves history.. there was 6 rooms in total. But what really makes this place is the staff and their knowledge. Kids can dress up in tudor clothes.

This is an absolute gem of a building - timber frame and wattle and daub construction over 4 centuries it has seen through the major overhauls of Margate's identity from port to seaside resort to Turner museum refurb. The committee into whose hands this building...More

We unfortunately only got to see wit from the outside as it was not open to view the interior on the day we went but it is a gorgeous piece of authentic Tudor architecture.

Hiya, I worked in The Tudor House as a volunteer. It's two floors with stairs inside and out the back so it's not very wheelchair friendly as it's a medieval building. The parking however, there is none for the Tudor House... More
