Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of joining a bike trip hosted by Colin, taking us from Margate to Whitstable along the stunning coast. The tour exceeded all our expectations and provided an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
Colin, our fab guide, truly made the trip exceptional. From the moment we met, he was super friendly, and his passion for the area were evident.
Halfway into our ride, we stopped for a coffee break overlooking the sea. It was the perfect opportunity to soak in the scenery, take some great photos, and chat with Colin (he has some great stories!)
We then pedaled our way towards Whitstable and Colin made sure to accommodate our mixed cycling skill levels. Whether you are an experienced cyclist or a novice, he ensures you feel comfortable and included.
When we got to Whitstable, Colin gave us lots of lunch options before we settled on a spot next to the sea for oysters, fish and chips, and ice cold beers. Perfect respite after 30km cycling!
As a final stop, Colin told us about a gelato place (the pistachio was amazing) which was a great end to the trip before we got the train back to Margate!
We only messaged Colin the day before we actually did the tour to ask if he could accommodate us and he was super flexible. He also ensured we had an ample time to appreciate the sights on the trip itself and we didn’t ever feel rushed.
As a final bonus, Colin took some amazing photos and videos of the scenery and of us riding bikes which he kindly shared with us, so we have lots of images to remember the day with.
We’re already looking forward to embarking on another adventure with him. If you're looking for a memorable bike trip in the Margate-Whitstable area, don't hesitate to book—you won't be disappointed!

Had a smashing day cycling around the Kent countryside. This was a bespoke tour arranged for our group.
Colin was an informative guide, the equipment was ace and he handled a puncture quickly and efficiently.
Really enjoyed the day and although exhausted at the end had a real sense of achievement.
Would recommend these tours. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Colin took us on a fabulous ride from Goodenstone to Canterbury and back, we were mostly slow and he had infinite patience. We were shown some beautiful tucked away villages and the lovely Kent countryside. We were very tired but happy by the end. Highly recommended.

We are a family of 7 and joined Col on the Margate to Ramsgate bike tour.
It was a great and memorable day out - riding along the beautiful coastline and stopping off at Broadstairs for lunch.
Col is an informative and friendly guide and even our 14 year old dog enjoyed her first experience of being in a trailer!
Highly recommend.

Had a brilliant day yesterday, cycling along the very scenic and interesting Kent coastline from Margate to Ramsgate and back. Colin was a superb guide! He is very friendly and relaxed and was very informative about points of interest along the way and he looked out for us all with our diverse needs in a very caring way as we went along. We enjoyed it so much and would thoroughly recommend Colin and this day tour. We will return for more to explore another part of Kent with Colin ! Thank you Colin!

On a trip from Margate, via Broadstairs, to Ramsgate, we’ve seen many places we never would have found ourselves. Colin’s a very nice guy and can tell you everything about the area. Felt safe all the way (mainly cycle paths). Colin’s a flexible guide that can change the standard route to your liking, or to last-minute changed circumstances (like a train strike). Highly recommended!

Fantastic day cycling Margate to Canterbury with our charming guide Simon. Enjoyed hearing stories of local history and politics as we cycled along the sea and numerous lovely villages. Highly recommend.

Colin’s excellent local knowledge and easy going temperament made this bike tour around Margate a brilliant experience. He was super helpful in the set up and very happy to tailor the tour to the particular group! His excellent rickshaw driving even meant that the not so keen bikers got a rest! All round a really great way to see Margate.

we visited from Belgium and had a great trip out with colin and simon, his buddy. they were very witty and knew an awful lot about the whole area. It was well worth it and me and my family would certainly recommend you doing this, even if you are not especially into cycling.
