Lovely walk, great amenities. Easy to walk to sea, plenty of sand and places to sit on breakers. It helped that it was a beautiful day too.

We chose to visit this beach specifically as it was dog friendly, however, what a disappointment! Although it was quite quiet, in comparison to the beach at Margate which was chocker, it was so smelly it was unbelievable! A dig friendly beach does not mean...More

This is a nice place to walk on the sands or take a swim or paddle with lots of sand and sea. When the tide is fully up is best to paddle. You can even bring the dogs here, but please clean up behind thanks.

Perfect for dog walkers - gorgeous clean sandy beach and absolutely beautiful scenery. Free parking and also a nice cafe there that does fish and chips.

Thanet has beaches beyond belief, the sort you would find in the carabean, minus the heat. But regardless there is something wonderfull about all sand beaches, and this one is a greast example of this.

Nice clean beach, a lot of dog walkers and a lot of seaweed, but good for the fresh air sea smell. Good for a swim too when its a bit warmer, the sea come right up to the concrete.

I love cycling around the coast and Palm Bay is one of my favourite locations to cycle through. It has lovely views from on top of the cliffs and there is a secluded beach nearby.

1.5 miles from the station. Most of the walk can be on a very wide path by the sea starting from behind the Turner Gallery and just meep walking until you come to the car park and cafe where jet skis operate. This is the... More
