We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For Mother’s Day my daughter treated us to Sunday lunch delivered to home. It was excellent, plenty of it and hot.

Took my elderly dad there a few times and a mixed group of regulars were not aggressive but made you feel that you were being watched for their amusement. Landlord and landlady could not have been nicer. Stopped going because of the uncomfortable feeling which is a shame.

I have always loved this pub. It was a large part of my early adult life. It is in a quiet part of Twydall and a real community pub without it feeling exclusive. The bar staff are friendly and there is separate areas for sport and just chilling.

It also has a nice pub garden/patio area out the front with grass for kiddies in the summer.

Popped into the pub late evening over the bank holiday weekend. The decor isnt great, bit of a dive, music too loud for the 5 people (looked like regulars) that were in there so we sat outside. Drinks were ok and fairly priced. Closed 1 side of the pub early 9.30pm. Were asked abruptly to leave at 11pm by the man in charge (closing time I know) but a 5 minute warning and manners cost nothing. Probably wont return as not my scene which is a shame as it's my local.

Visited the Dewdrop today and had the pleasure of trying their Sunday roast. We both had the 3 meat roast which was chicken, gammon and beef. The beef was amazing melt in the mouth and the accompanying veg, roasties and yorkies were all perfectly cooked. Everything tasted home cooked and not cooked en mass/ reheated like some pub lunches. It’s the best roast I’ve had I a pub for a long, long time and I’ll definitely go back. It’s best to pre book to avoid being turned away as, understandably they’re doing a roaring trade!

We recently met with friends at The Dewdrop and had a fantastic evening. The new landlords Louise and Steve are excellent hosts. Whilst we were there, several meals were being served and I must say they looked lovely. We will be going back for sure soon and next time will eat there.
