What an excellent pub. Hidden away somewhat, and you wouldn’t think too much of it from outside, but this place is really first class. The staff are all polite and efficient, the premises are immaculate and the beer is right up there. Can’t fault it.

Pub smells of a toilet inside so had to sit outside. Gin and tonic served in lager glass. Peg on nose if sitting inside.

Really great pub, good service and a nice selection of beers. Definitely worth popping in for a couple if you are in the area.

Working local haven't been in the punch for a while, but have to say still a decent little pub with a lot of character and a good few ales. Next time in, will try the food so watch this space.

It has had a chequered history; the grass carpet (left down a few weeks too long) for a St Patrick's Day celebration still comes to mind every time I turn my compost heap. The turnover of management seems to be a fact of the pub's history but it keeps on serving good beer to a mostly local clientele. The P and J isn't trendy thank heaven and is really only a local with food, but if you want a decent pint in a proper pub then I recommend a visit. Also very handy for Tonbridge station when the trains are up the creek.…
