We offer trips for up to 12 passengers to the Maunsell Forts at Red Sands and the Kentish Flats Wind Farm from £35 per person (~1 hour) or to see the seals from £25 per person (~50 minutes) on our 10m Rib. Our DryRobes will keep you warm and dry when out at sea and Skippers will tell you about the Forts, Wind Farm and seals. Trips are tide and weather dependent with full refunds if Mother Nature is having a bad day. Please check out our website for trip times and to book, do let us know if you want us to put on a trip at a more suitable time for you and we’ll try and accommodate.

Loved this experience! Gave the Maunsell towers/wind farm boat trip as a birthday gift to my partner. We went on a beautiful sunny September Saturday. The trip length is perfect—enough for the boat to linger at each site, give you a very good look, take photos, etc. before moving on. Our guide took time to answer everyone’s questions after giving us the overview at each place. The trip out and back is fast, and they play music, which is fun (and, sure, a little cheesy, but it would be awkward to zoom around in silence). I would happily do this trip again! Worth it.
Booking ahead is a good idea, especially on the weekends—we did and got lucky with the weather—as all of their trips on our day ended up selling out.

We had a wonderful boat trip out to see the seals with Bob and Sophie hosting. Our first trip was cancelled due to forecasts of bad weather, but there was good communication about this and we had the choice of a refund or rebook. So glad we rebooked. There were at least 50 seals chilling on the sand bank, and we had a decent length of time to stay and observe them to take photos. Good choice of music on the journey too! Thank you. We'll book again soon.

We had a fantastic time. Totally recommend. Booked for three families for fathers day but then one of the families had an emergency and Paul could not have been more accommodating, flexible and understanding. We rebooked for September and we were so lucky with the weather. Just perfect conditions for a boat trip. It was really interesting and the forts are just amazing. Really friendly crew and great music too. Even the teenagers enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much Paul and crew we had a fabulous day out.

What an amazing trip, Whitstable boat tours were exceptional from start to finish. They made us feel welcomed, involved and special throughout. As a local ive always wanted to do this trip and I'm so glad I chose Whitstable boat tours when I did, we certainly made memories to last a lifetime!
At the end of the tour Paul was extra kind and played our sons favourite songs in the harbour while we took photos on the boat. Thank you so much for making the experience so special

It was the perfect weather conditions. The sea was like a mill pond and there was a sea mist at the bar of the forts which gave it an eerie feel. The guides ar we're knowledgeable and the music really set the scene. Well worth doing.

very good trip, Mark was very knowledgeable and made the trip enjoyable. Fantastic to see the Forts and wind farm so close up. £45 might seem a little high but i would say its worth it. they wont be there forever as they are deteriorating due to sea erosion.

I can't write much about this as spoiler alert but what an amazing experience! Knowledgeable, friendly crew from welcome to finish, the forts were one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Also some other touches which added to the whole experience, to quote my 12 year old 'best Boat trip ever!'

This boat trip was absolutely amazing! Such a fun experience! The crew were really lovely and informative. Myself and my family loved every minute! The forts were incredible and it was also fun to see the wind farm so close. We looped around the forts a number of times so got to see them from all angles and up really close - it was brilliant! Having the music blasting travelling to and from was also great! All in all the best trip, couldn't recommend more! :D

Great time heading out to the wind farm and the Red Sands Sea Forts! Great weather, calm-ish seas, friendly guide with a fun group of fellow travellers. Great music selection too!
