Mr John Middleton

A very nice half day out with children and anyone who likes horses. You can even have a meal here if you wish, you may have to book if you are thinking of having something to eat.

Visited for Friday lunch where the price for fish and chips was good value at £7.95 for 2 people. Nice meal.... no problem. However this place does not have on the table a menu for drinks, and not one at the counter on show. So I ordered a pot of tea for one. I was charged for this £2.50. Tea... More

Hi Tony We are delighted you were able to take advantage of our Friday offer for Fish and Chips and enjoyed your meal. However, we are sorry you felt we fell short of your expectations regarding the price of the hot beverage accompanying your food. We feel our prices are comparable to other establishments similar to ourselves in the local... More

Whether you have children, are looking for meeting and conference facilities, or wanting a lovely place for lunch, HAPPA is well worth visiting. Children can have free membership of the Tommy Trotter Club and collect stickers at each visit which they exchange periodically for free gifts. It's wonderful to visit the ponies and horses and see how well they are... More

We visited as we'd heard that the cafe here, The Scullery, serves some good food. We weren't disappointed! We had the Monday lunchtime special - fish pie and peas followed by Bakewell tart and custard for just £4.50! Both the food and service were very good. It's not just meals - they also do snacks or just tea's and coffees... More

Keep an eye on our Shores Hey Farm Facebook page, every Monday morning, to find out what the two courses will be. We... More

Went with a donation. It was our first visit and had a look round at the horses. Very worthy cause when you realise how some animals were found in appalling conditions and are now treated with the respect they deserve. Had a lovely fish lunch and purchased some items from the shop.

Hi Thank you for giving us a donation and for taking the time to leave a review. We're glad you were able to see the amazing work we do to rehabilitate and rehome the equine in our care. It's great you enjoyed your lunch in The Scullery too. If you didn't already know, on a Friday you can get two... More

It may be tucked away and hard to find but it's worth the effort! A great place for all ages, with plenty to see and do, great facilities and friendly staff - and to top it off it doesn't cost a penny. Though the cafe serves excellent, good quality food at great prices and the shop is really worth a... More

We had a delicious home made lunch at HAPPA. The food was all home made, children's chicken nuggets were large pieces of chicken in home made batter with wedges. Good choice. I had fish and chips, which was again in home made batter with a lovely homemade tarter sauce. The food was reasonably priced,. Lovely day out lots of horses... More

Hi Angie Thank you for your kind words. We're thrilled you had a good day out at HAPPA, and enjoyed meeting the equine in our care.
