    Nice cafe, rude staff.
We visited the outlet village 16/6/23. Been many times and always got what we need. There is a decent supply of retail outlets and a new garden centre which is really good, competitive prices. We visited Poppies cafe & had the full breakfast. Good value, nice clean, bright surroundings, food was good for the money, £4 for full breakfast. There was one incident which put a little damper on the visit. My wife was queuing for the tea tray which was brought, absent the milk. The young person put down the tray and appeared to be moving away, at which point my wife excused the young person and, mistakenly, pointed it out. The young person said she was just getting it & my wife apologised. It was at this point when another staff member, an older person, commented to the young person, quite sarcastically, “faster”. My wife had made the mistake and apologised so the sarcasm from the other person seemed unnecessary but sufficient for me to say whilst I shall continue to visit & enjoy the retail outlet, I’ll eat elsewhere. Shame really but no one likes to be on the receiving end of unnecessary rudeness.

    To Affinity And Beyond
We did have a bit of a challenge finding the Affinity Outlet, because it seems to be known by more than one name, which confused our Satnav, but we got there in the end. This is quite a modest shopping outlet, exacerbated by some of the units still being empty, and I am not entirely sure that I would term all the retail outlets as 'designer' brands although, to be fair, the word 'designer' doesn't appear on the signs or in any promotional literature. There are a number of cafes and restaurants and a lovely mini double decker bus, which takes visitors around, much to the delight of the young passengers aboard. If you are into hiking, or need an old ladies nightie or a pair of shoes, then well worth a visit - candles, backpacks or baby clothes, but not much besides.

Good day out apart from the rain
Had a lovely trip was very unsure as like sometimes I read reviews some of which I thought nasty. So as I always say see for yourself and makeup your own mind. After reading so many empty shops I was pleasantly surprised if you want empty shops my home town is the one to visit. had a good day and picked up bargains. Had a lovely pasty and wedges in poppies tearoom excellent value never had so many wedges in one portion the three of us could have shared. As one reviewer wrote about unisex toilets were they at a different centre as the toilets were clearly marked men and women except I thought I had walked into the as the cleaner was male ha ha not a problem. At the end of the day if you need to go you need to go. Was glad you made the reply concerning they were separate. I don’t normally write reviews but I felt the need to do it this time to praise your centre. J Finch

    Access could be better
I appreciate the vast majority of people who go to the Affinity Outlet must come by car, but we came on foot from Fisherman's Walk tram stop. We went in the main entrance assuming there was another entrance/exit at the north end close to McDonalds but there isn't!! This was an upheaval for my mother who could've done without the extra walking. The website advertises that McDonalds is nearby but clearly this is only convenient if you can get back in your car and drive there!

    Usual shopping experience
Not been here for years so had a run out today. Plenty of shops ut nothing csught our eye, and a few eateries to choose fromm. We had a nice lunch in Poppies tearoom, everything nicely presented, with salad garnish and coleslaw, the experience only spoilt by a yappy dog. Yes, its nice that dogs, are allowed in the shopping village , and I appreciate they are someones 'fur babies' but they could be kept quiet rather than spoiling everyone's lunch time. We like to pop over to the marina, but there were no boats at all there

Good mix of shops, hardly any empty units. Nice little garden centre. Plenty of parking. Noticed some of the unit are not discount outlets. Bus stop on site, tram stop 5 mins walk away.
Many thanks for leaving a review. We are actually fully let so have no empty units 🙂 We look forward to welcoming you again soon!

    Nice place to visit
Live locally so regularly ,miss grapeseed and think it's return would fit well inside the new cafe/garden centre area. Handy free children's play areas for all ages groups. I enjoy the events that offer craft activities for families. I liked the artisan market held a couple of months ago. My grandchildren like it when dinosaurs and other guests visit. No complaints
Many thanks for leaving a review. We're s o glad that you enjoyed your visit and look forward to welcoming you again soon. P.S - Our Artisan Street event is retuning this year on a number of occasions - keep an eye on our socials for the dates 🙂

Okay if you want to buy clothes, otherwise pretty pointless, not much else on offer. Lacks a good choice of places to eat.

Many thanks for leaving a review. We're a little disappointed that you find our centre pretty pointless as we have lots to offer, including our amazing FREE events program. We'd love to know what you like to see at the centre?

When we visited it was pouring with rain but thankfully the majority of shops had a covered walkway. It was lovely and clean with a large selection of shops and plenty of parking.
